Spore Bot Parts
The Bot Parts in-game
In order to actually get the Bot Parts in-game you'll need a mod that adds them, I recommend Davo's version as it includes social abilities which can be found somewhere on DavoOnline, it can also be found on Spore's NexusMods with the name "Bots Parts and Patches" and is also included in the big mods like Dark Injections or BetterSpore for example.
Steve's (SteveTheGod) original guide on The Sporum has a manual download to a fixed version that does not have an old crash that some have.
Even if you have the Bot Parts badge on your Spore website account, you'll still need a mod to add them into your actual game.
The actual Bot Parts files were made public long ago, so there are plenty of mods floating around that contain them in simple Spore mod .package form like I said. I can't simply link it here though sadly because third-party links are not allowed but it is easily found online from the popular Spore modding websites too.
To actually obtain "genuine" Bot Parts, you will need to do something more than that...

Part 1: IntroductionTo obtain "Genuine" Spore Bot Parts, or rather the permission to actually upload your Spore Bot Parts creations onto the Sporepedia from having the "Spore Bot Parts" badge on your account, you will need to do something more.
Now since the Spore Bot Parts files are officially public and is not a product whatsoever it is something that you can ask EA to give to you. No really, you can and it is what I did, just yesterday I did not have it and it is 2022 not 2010 lol.
To do it you will need to go to EA Help .
Part 2: Contacting EA Help AgentsNavigate to "Help with a game" with Spore and choose either "Redeem game codes" or "Codes and promotions" as the issue. You want to contact an EA Help Agent, at first you will be directed to a Live Chat with an EA Help Agent.
You gotta to explain to the Support Agent that the Bot Parts Pack files have been made public to everyone and that you have it however you need the permission in order to upload Bot Part Pack creatures to the Spore website via the Spore Bot Parts badge under the "Games Owned" tab on your Spore account. Ask them to please activate the Spore Bot Parts onto your Spore account and follow their instructions.
Examples:
I was wondering, hoping and praying that you guys could add Spore Patch 1.06 Dr. Pepper Mech Parts to my Account so I can share Mech parts with my friends on the Sporepedia? Im missing the Icon that enables Spore Mech parts to be shared. Can you help me with this PLEASE!?!?!! : )
I am having an issue with the 2010 Dr. Pepper collab Bot Parts. I'm unable to post any creations with the parts to spore(dot)com because my profile requires the Bot Parts badge under the "owned games" tab. This isn't a troubleshooting question, I just need to get a hold of someone who has access to the site to ask permission for them to enable it for me.

Part 3: What to look out forMany people have gotten a Live Chat Agent that's given them the Bot Parts Pack right then and there, many people have gotten Agents who give the usual untrue runaround from 'it's not possible to give since it's not a distributed DLC anymore' to 'many players have the same issue and I am pleased to tell you that we are working on a fix, is there anything else?' etc, these are either lies or misinformed powerless Live Chat Agents, I really don't know.
What you need to do when you get an Agent who is unwilling to help you is remain polite and respectful and literally just keep trying until you get someone who understands what you are talking about and is willing to activate it on your account. Perseverance here will get you the Bot Parts, people have gotten it in 20 mins of first contact to having to wait a week through email Cases (like me)... either way you WILL get the Bot Parts if you keep it up!
I believe that If they ask for a 'proof of purchase', it's a sign you have a Live Chat Agent who does not know what you are talking about, but I could be wrong about that.
In my experience the best thing is to send an email which will be an available contact option once you've gone through Live Support Chat enough times and it's put on a sort of 'cooldown'. This way in my opinion they are able to shuffle it around to people as opposed to it being tied to one Agent.
Remember to be polite and respectful to EA Help!
Small example of the "lies"
This can sadly happen, the best thing to do is laugh and open a new Case and try again in hopes you will get someone who knows what "bot on spore" even is xD
Remember this: I know how hopeless it might feel when all you get are unhelpful Help Agents, but trust me you really have to keep going and going until you get that Help Agent who just snaps his fingers and activates the Bot Parts for you, theres lots of those EA Help Agents out there but lots are clueless about this sadly. Keep making new Cases!
Again pls be polite and respectful to EA Help
When I did this after maybe 5 email Cases of people telling me there is nothing they can do and "do not use bot on spore", boom my new Case email was with someone who professionally asks for my Spore info and I see this on my Sporepedia profile:

My original Spore account's name is Baerguy117, but I had lost access to it for a time and made Evie222 which I also got Bot Parts on via this method but I have since remembered the login to my OG account Baerguy117

Dedication
This method is not new at all, in fact I believe it's been around almost a decade now. I am just spreading awareness of it.
I dedicate this guide to the very first person (to my knowledge) to create a guide on this helping people get Bot Parts, and who also helped me on EA Answers Forums as well. Check out his guide on The Sporum!
