1. Basic knowledge of Strategy

This is where you must learn a strategy base on maps in Warthunder. Each strategy has their own way to defeat an enemy without dying instantly like a little maggot:

Flanking Manoeuvre
A Flanking Manoeuvre is where you can go to left, right or both side of the maps, allow you to counter-attack any enemy tanks on their side of their armour as it can allow you to penetrate and destroy it target.

So, that can allow your teammate to push forward without a struggle. But, the enemy can do exactly the same things as you did, and you must pay attention to where the enemy is on either side of the maps.

If you don’t, then you are dead and game over.

Defensive
This “Defensive” allows you to stay cover behind the building and other small object that potentially saved your life depending on the kind of tanks that might or could be a problem like a weak armour for example, and it needed to be in covered. Instead of going in the open area whereas you could get yourself shot easily by the enemy.

Now, it doesn’t always have to be a building or an object to defend yourself. You can also protect yourself against the hills which can help you to stay covered from an enemy in long distance shot.

But, if the enemy is close to you for example near a building, object or hills, and you are repairing yourself, you really need a teammate to cover you. If not, then you are dead and there is nothing else you could do. If the enemy is not heading toward to you then you are fine and allow you to finish repairing.

(Sorry for lame defensive image)

High Ground
A High Ground is where you stand at the top of the hills, and you have the advantage to fire a long distance shot at the enemy, only if the enemy dares to go up and stand on the high ground.

But, the enemy will do the same strategy as you do, only if you dare too and also enemy will not go on high ground as they would rather stay on low ground to take advantage against you, if you are not aware of it.

Low Ground
A low ground is where you are surrounded by the hills, and it’s allow you to avoid the high ground long distance shot. The low ground will allow you to act like a snake to sneak up on the enemy, if the enemy isn’t aware their surrounded. But be caution as the enemy can do the same strategy as you do so be aware.
