Hello, my name is Virkay. I’ve been creating content for PAYDAY 2 for a few years now, mainly focusing on DSOD (Death Sentence One Down). After a lot of experience and feedback, I decided to put together a full DSOD build guide to help players improve and get consistent runs on the hardest difficulty.

Para Submachine Gun

During the real shootout, the robbers used multiple rifles. Unfortunately, many of them exist only as primary weapons in the game, which makes it impossible to perfectly replicate their loadout.

The Para SMG is the closest secondary that resembles the M16-style platform.

Also, their rifles used drum magazines, which do not exist in vanilla Payday 2. They can only be added using mods, which would technically be cheating. 🙂

Now for the fun stuff:

Before we deep dive, you will need the "Timeless Event Items" mod to use these weapons 24/7 (It adds some others!)

The cash blaster is an insanely overpowered weapon, and man is it a fun, guilty pleasure to use! Who doesn't like shooting showers of money at their opposition?

The musket can 1 shot everything besides SWAT turrets as turrets will take 2 shots instead. Anything from a beat cop all the way to a minigun dozer. Yep you heard that right! You don't even need to aim for the head, just aim center mass and let 'er rip tater chip!

Let's get a few things out of the way;

Can this build be optimized or altered? Yes
Is it impractical? Yes
Are there more practical and useful anti dozer primary weapons? Yes
Is it really fun and gets good laughs? Yes
Does it do its intended job? Yes
Is this one of the most fun builds I have ever tested, used and created? Also yes

The cash blaster will be your main weapon. The musket will be your anti dozer, turret and even captain if he is out of cash blaster range.

Both weapons have long reload times. Bloodthirst aced and Copycat's auto reload from its very first card will help in that department.

You can get overwhelmed sometimes if dozer spammed, the cash blaster can deal with dozers *if their face plate and visor are broken.*

Some notes:

[MA-17 Flamethrower: Aim at the head to kill (and proc bullseye) aim at body to get converts for your teammates or to trade if someone goes into custody. You do not need to mag dump, tap firing does the trick and saves ammo. This will essentially be your primary for everything (even Winters) besides dozers.

The Baby Deagles are your main anti dozer. Aim at face and click until he goes bye-bye.

One of the main attractions of this is with all the damage over time (DOT) you have (Flamethrower and Viper grenades), you will be constantly regenerating armor and armor gating. It is our main lifeline besides our unconditional 2 shot armor via Iron Man and Frenzy.]

[Some notes:
small side tidbit: The exclusive set for the Akron is unsuppressed even though it looks like it has a suppressor on, so you get the panic effect from Muscle :^)

You can swap hostage taker aced for unseen if you want more crits, or wherever else you feel is needed.

Hostage taker is not mandatory, but makes Muscle feel a lot better by having a 7.5% HP regen per 5 seconds when you have a convert. Having that much HP regen for simply existing is a strong tool. But if you don't want it, you can swap those points around.

If you are newer to DS, Muscle is a good deck to learn with. It teaches good habits, simple to use and understand, you get an unconditional 3 shot health, built in panic on enemies for simply firing your weapons and 3% base HP regen every 5 seconds.

Muscle is fairly strong, simple and fun to play, I recommend giving it a chance whether you are new or a veteran if you haven't already]
