A guide on how to re-enable politics after civil war
Step-by-step instructions
- Download the ESF tool: link here http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?623719-EditSF-1-1-Added-Array-Editing
- Prepare a save file after civil happens.
- Use ESF to open your save file and navigate through the following key:
CAMPAIGN_SAVE_GAME >> COMPRESSED_DATA >> CAMPAIGN_ENV >> CAMPAIGN_MODEL >> WORLD >> FACTION_ARRAY >> FACTION_ARRAY-0 >> FACTION >> CAMPAIGN_POLITICS
(This is for the Roman faction, for other factions, use a different FACTION_ARRAY-#)
- Change the first Boolean value from False to True
- Done
Bonus: If you go further into the CAMPAIGN_POLITICS key, you will find
POLITICAL_POWER >> POLITICAL_POWER-0
which has three entries: the name of the party, the political power and the number of senators corresponding to that power. For those that dont already know, political power is represented in game by Influence.
