Bannerlord F6 guide (all you need to know about it)
what F6 does
The F6 function give command of all your troops to the AI.
Your army composition affect how the AI gonna command your troops.
Your army composition affect how the AI gonna command your troops.
Cavalry
they alway gonna make 2 groups of cavalry for cover each flank and charge horse archer who come close or when hostilities between infantry/archer begin.
if you have to many cavalry they gonna give the charge to ennemy
if you have to many cavalry they gonna give the charge to ennemy
horse archer
they rush ennemy and harass them for slow their formation and sometime gonna try to kite ennemy cavalry to your archer and infantry.
Infantry and Archer
the most complex part because their number affect directly how the F6 ai gonna command them
generally the difference need to be very low between archer and infantry
Infantry:
if you have more archer/crossbow (or near equal as infantry) units they gonna go at range of ennemy archer and stop.
if you have lot more infantry than archer they gonna rush until they are in melee range and beat the sh** out of them.
Archer:
if you have a lot more infantry than them they gonna be less usefull (except for hunt horse archer and ennemy cavalry).
if not they gonna go in first line when your infantry gonna reach the range of ennemy archer and shot them to death (or until ennemy infantry begin to come to close of them they gonna go behind and infantry gonna automaticly charge).
if ennemy cavalry come to attacks them they gonna go behind friendly infantry until they leave.
Exception to the rule:
If the ennemy army have a lot more archer and a low number of infantry (or not) the infantry gonna select the charge option instead of go to ennemy archer range and stop.
