The basis of Bannerlord on the battlefield

After many hours researching, testing, playing i found some big rules, which you should use if you want to win.
The tips about BATTLEFIELDS (NOT FOR SIEGE BATTLES)
My english not that good, but i think it's understandable, do not judje me for that so much please :D

  1. The Blobs wins - This game works not likely games we played before. If you come from strategies and think you need to have 2 infantry squad and 2 bow squad to make good control on the battlefield - you are wrong. And now i would say why
DO NOT SPLIT INFANTRY. Why? In this game commanders could made your troops very strong and tough, almost immortals - if you know which perks you need to take, to be honest you will not have that much really strong commanders to splitting your troops into smaller groups. Second reason - numbers. If you have 350 troops total and fight against 1100 enemies - you would notice how game making outnumber army on the battlefield. In reality you would have 140 troops against 400 constantly and you will understand this tip about splitting.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Ai is not that stupid how we think - you could notice if we put all melee infantry in 1 big squad, after we start battle he will rotate troops by using rules - Shield and most armored troops infront, weakest troops and stormtroopers (without shields) would stand behind. If you prefer split shields and stormtroopers by your own - they would be not that effective, especially protecting your berserkers from shield guys.
Here how it looks when you press "ready"
Just let them be in 1 group (NOTICE THIS TIP IS NOT ABOUT SIEGE BATTLES, ONLY BATTLEFIELDS). For Archers i would recommend not splitting them too , just make them stands split rotation (choose group of archers then F2+F3). If archers having shields - they would stands in first line of other archers.
Even cavalry in 1 blob (horse archers and melee horses) making it smart, if you command your cavalry attack, every unit would choose tactic for his role (shooting if can and running around or charging). But for cavalry you could split them into archers and melee horses, that's fine
------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1. Again blobs win - tactic surrounding enemies works very hard and critical on the battlefield, every unit could be destroyed just with tier 2 units if he gets surrounded.
If you sendind troops by "attack" you will notice if this is big land, your troops starts splitting losing formation of line very fast - do not let them charging so long alone, control them by just moving closer into enemies and then pressing to attack. But this rule not work much for cavalry, they are smart enough to using circle charging by its own, but i would say control them too and not letting them chase enemies into fresh reinforcements - they will die.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Formations:
INFANTRY formation rules!
Remember shield wall - against archers and some flying objectives, this is NOT FOR BATTLE. Use shield wall ONLY to wishstand against archers spam and for moving closer.

Before you starting melee fight bring "line" formation back and then press attack!
If you really outnumbered and you need just make frontline lives longer (you understand your 30 troops could not win against 150 enemie melee), then i recommend use "Square" formation

Here trick - if you want punish enemie cavalry charging your troops - disable shoot at will, troops would take spears into hand and enemie cavalry would it them if they charge your troops! ARCHERS
For archers there is "loose" formation is always, do not forget about putting them into this stance constantly.
If you put heroes in there, be ready they will shoot much faster than normal troops and if you use "attack" command your troops would use weapon which they can use, if they out of arrows - they will charge in melee, so keep it in mind and do not send your archers group just by clicking "attack". Just use "loose" formation and rotate them close to battlefield, enough for range shooting. OR disable "firing at will" and send them all into melee to support your melee troops!

CAVALRY
Mostly i just putting all cavalry unit in 1 blob and send them really strong commander with perks, by placing them in right flank (why right flank? because if you move all troops forward ai choosing left flank for infantry and right flank for cavalry as always). Use your cavalry for - countercharging enemy cavalry, distract enemies line for make your archers shoot longer when enemie charing into you, to support your melee troops with close combat, to distract and counter enemie archers. Sometimes pull them back, or they will too much split and die alone on enemies reinforcements!

I will leave my basic formation here as a screenshot. If you try this on the battlefield you will notice how it works

To be honest i'm lazy, but i will keep working on guide and put part for heroes, commanders, their weapons in next future!
Next part would be have tips about how to make good commander for every unit, how to raise it grab. Whick perks works critical on your troops and which weapon you should let your heroes!
