Conquer the United Kingdom in 1936 (As Germany)

First things first, this is based off of the guide below, but the original guide is outdated due to Naval being updated not too long ago.

Anyways, it's incredibly easy to pull off and is the easiest way to get the Sealion achievement. Let's also be honest: It's super annoying trying to conquer the UK or fighting against them at anytime in any playthrough, so here is it made easy.


(Make sure you're playing as Germany.)

STEP ONE: ARMY ASSIGNMENT

First, take your troops and create two armies and assign them to Naval Invade the United Kingdom. Have them target Hull that way you can immediately get access to a port, and invade land close by so that way you don't accidentally get circled and lose ~20-40 minutes of progress.

You can land anywhere in the UK, but I would heavily suggest landing in Hull and anywhere where your naval invasion only takes up two seas, as otherwise you'll need more naval dominance and that can be a pain to gather.



One thing I'd also suggest is having a third army for mainland defense in case the AI gets sneaky, and a fourth AI for area defense located in the UK, so once you land reinforcements will immediately come in to the country making your assault a lot easier.

STEP TWO: FOCUSES

Choose the Remilitarize the Rhineland focus that way you can get lots of political power very fast, helping you speedrun your conquering of the Brits. (After you unlock this you can focus on anything you want, but I'd personally suggest anything that helps with fuel intake and army training.)


STEP THREE: NAVAL

[Create a navy under one admiral and have him control the North Sea and Earthern North Sea and choose him to patrol the area. [b]It is crucial you gather 150+ naval dominance in the areas, otherwise this will not work. Just simply keep sending boats there and you'll be fine.[/b]



STEP FOUR: WAR JUSTIFICATION

With the political power from Remilitarize the Rhineland, justify a war goal against any of the United Kingdom's puppets. Make sure you do not justify against the country itself, otherwise this will not work. I personally choose to justify British Malaysia because the original guide does too.

After all this, you can just wait until justification is over, play Hoi4 as normal.


STEP FIVE: THE EASY PART

Declare war, and then immediately pause the game. Activate your naval invasions if you haven't already. You will land in the United Kingdom, and reinforcements will keep coming in.

Play the game very aggressively, it's very easy to conquer the United Kingdom at this point. Just ensure you have your airforce focusing on the country too.

STEP SIX: YOU WON
Do whatever you want with your newfound knowledge, enjoy the Sealion Achievement. I'd say invade France and Poland now for even more achievements, it should be a breeze without the UK breathing down your neck.
