(Eng version) The Army System in Hoi4. How to Use It? How to fight?
division structure
1.division structure
This part will also include a description of the division (essentially an analysis of your division)
(I decided to start by discussing the troop system itself, because that's essentially the system used in the game)
A division is the main tactical unit in various branches of the armed forces of countries, which can number from 1,000 to 25,000 soldiers. It includes infantry battalions (rifle and artillery) to mechanized (armored, armored cavalry). In most armies, a division consists of several regiments or brigades. Several divisions form a corps or may be directly subordinate to an army command.
This system also exists in hoy4, depending on the level of light/heavy attack, breakthrough, defense and especially the planning and organization of your division/divisions, the level of victory on the battlefield will depend. In the picture, where highlighted in blue, I marked it in blue and with numbers.
1. Brigades that support the same division and that carry out division orders, and divisions carry out army orders or the collective term corps
2.The second is the battalions (support companies) that support the army, from military police to artillery and anti-aircraft regiments. It is through them that they add a greater bonus and chance of victory on the battlefield.

2.DESCRIPTION OF THE DIVISION
Next is Division Analytics. Essentially an analytics that affects the fate of your division, it also shows the coefficient of fighting battles, from the amount of weapons to the organization (it includes light/heavy attacks, defense and breakthrough), also front width.
About Organization - this is important thing in divisions. Organization - is an indicator of the combat stability of a division, which reflects its ability to continue fighting. In essence, it is the morale, controllability and cohesion of the unit in one value.
In the game, organization determines how long a division can fight. When organization drops to zero, the division automatically stops fighting and retreats, even if it still has soldiers, equipment and almost no real losses. Therefore, in HOI4, a battle is won not by destroying people, but by breaking the enemy organization.
Organization depends on what I called four factors - light/heavy attack, defense and breakthrough.
1. Soft atack - This is a light attack carried out against infantry brigades (helmets) and artillery.
2. Hard atack - This is an attack carried out against armored and mechanized brigades (sometimes battalions and regiments, if you put them in the *support* section). In fact, such attacks are many times better than light ones (if you build a tank template for 6 tank divisions and 4-6 mechanized divisions)
3. Defense - is defense
4. Breakthrough - is a defense against an attack
About front width:
The width of the front - is important because it determines how much of the division's strength is actually working in battle. If the width is exceeded, all troops receive penalties to attack and defense; if it is not filled, part of the potential is simply not used. The correct width gives the maximum efficiency of divisions without penalties.
Front width - is a limit on how many divisions can fight in a province at the same time. Attacking from one direction gives 40 width, attacking from two gives 80. If the total width of the divisions exceeds the limit, everyone receives penalties; if it is not filled, effectiveness is lost.

division template
The division template structure is the most important stage of warfare in hoy4, all of this is related to the first stage of this guide. Here are some templates that I use (mostly they are cheaper, but with their help I won)
Attack introduction tactic:

Defense introduction tactic:

Atack/defense introduction tactic (light tank):

Atack/defense introduction tactic (medium tank):

arming your army
In fact, this content should also include a topic, in addition to one DLC ("Arms Against Tyranny"), another DLC ("No step back"), but unfortunately I have not purchased and do not own the latter DLC.
And lastly - the armament of the army. This system is the same as on the modern battlefield, but they differ from each other. If you have the latest weapons, which have useful functions and powerful characteristics, then there will be a chance of victory, but victory depends on several factors - experience in warfare, command of a combat unit and geographical location.
Rearmament in HOI4 is very important, because modern equipment makes divisions stronger: it increases their attack, defense, breakthrough and reliability, and also reduces losses during combat. If divisions use outdated weapons or equipment, they fight weaker even with large numbers, lose organization faster and cannot effectively perform tasks.
Military organizations, primarily doctrines, determine the style of war and systematically strengthen the army. They provide bonuses to organization, attack, breakthrough, planning and speed of movement. Without doctrines, an army will be less effective even with modern weapons. An additional important role is played by generals and field marshals, whose experience and traits increase the efficiency of divisions and allow for more complex operations. Together, rearmament and organization of the army determine how successfully troops can conduct combat operations.

The end
We've reached the end. If this guide was helpful to you, let me know. I was happy to help you better understand the army system in the game.
