Move to Secure the Dominions
Introduction
Following the Fascist or Communist paths of the United Kingdom focus tree, the dominions will declare themselves independent after your government changes ideology. This can be prevented with the focus "Move to Secure the Dominions", which this guide focuses on. Once the focus is complete, you unlock decisions to: Declare Martial Law, Launch Propaganda Campaigns, and Install a New Government. After which, the dominions will no longer break free.
The reason this warrants a guide, is that these decisions require explicit amounts of manpower to be in specific states, which it does not tell you until after the focus is completed. This guide aims to detail whatever amount of manpower is required in which specific states, like the original guide.
Some pointers I would give, is that these decisions require large amounts of political power to complete, and so I would suggest having a comfortable amount before changing ideologies. As well as this, the manpower requirements in each state are in amounts of 9600: this is also the exact amount of manpower needed to field the starting "Infantry Division" template, and is clearly what is supposed to be used to complete these decisions. You can also use divisions from your dominions, by requesting focuses, though non of them are exactly 9600 and so if you do intend to do this, you'll need to count of the manpower in each division yourself.
Next to the amount of manpower required, I will also list a number of divisions, this number of divisions assumes that you're using the starting "Infantry Division" template (or any other template with at least 9600 manpower).
This process is as it appears, extremely tedious and very much displays its age, hopefully this will be changed soon in a possible rework of the British Focus tree, and this guide becomes obsolete.
I will also include maps displaying which states require manpower, for the purposes of this guide: Red states are states that will require manpower, Black states are excess territory of the dominion (which do not require manpower).
