Animals / plants / collection entries in the Compendium automatically track. Examine every animal you see.

Check camp requests whenever the camp moves. Some requests are missable.

Some side missions (Stranger missions) are available only in certain chapters; they will close if you miss them.

Achievements aren’t critical here — nothing can be missed.

✔ Complete main missions → Just a Scratch and Back in the Mud unlock automatically.

Extra tips:

Get used to looting (for future achievements like “Take From the Rich” 250$).

Start examining every animal at least once (with binoculars or camera).

This chapter is crucial for achievements because it has many camp activities, camp requests, and starting Stranger missions.

✔ Step 1 — Do all camp activities

Charles, Lenny, Javier, Pearson, etc.

Needed for Friends With Benefits achievement.

One activity per camp location is enough.

✔ Step 2 — Complete 5 camp requests

These are small item delivery requests from campmates.

Completing 5 → Errand Boy achievement.

Only available Chapters 2–4, miss them → miss achievement.

✔ Step 3 — Start Stranger mission chains

Each new Stranger → counts toward Western Stranger (need 10).

✔ Step 4 — Play mini-games

Poker, Domino, Five Finger Fillet → Hobby Horse achievement.

✔ Step 5 — Chapter ends

→ To Greener Pastures unlocks automatically.

Still time, do them before moving on.

Clearing at least 1 of 4 homesteads is enough.
