The Backstory of Tilly Jackson
Tilly was the daughter of a former slave and entered the outlaw life at just twelve years old, when she was abducted by the Foreman Brothers gang. During her time with them, she killed Anthony Foreman’s cousin, Malcolm, slitting his throat after he attempted to take advantage of her. Following this, she abandoned the gang. When Tilly returned to the place where her mother had worked, she discovered that her mother had already passed away.
Later, Dutch van der Linde came across Tilly while she was in danger. Much like he had done for Arthur and John, Dutch stepped in to protect her. He took the girl under his care, teaching her to read and raising her as part of the gang. Tilly regarded Dutch as a surrogate father and remained deeply thankful for the compassion and guidance he had shown her.
