The Lowrider Challenge is a side mission that involves the player activating a Lowrider's hydraulic systems in prompted directions to make the car hop. The mission can be activated by approaching the mechanic outside Unity Station in Los Santos with a lowriders.

Depending on how much a player eats, it can result in physical differences.
It remains the only game where players can alter their bodies.
By eating too much food and refusing to exercise, CJ will gain body weight.

How does CJ being fat affect his performance in GTA San Andreas?

His physical abilities will decrease, such as his health and stamina.

Several missions require players to run and jump over objects. It will be harder to pull them off when they are fat.
In this state, CJ does everything slower. Whether it's climbing up walls or hopping a fence, it takes him a while.

Pedestrians in GTA San Andreas will react to CJ.
They may comment on his physical appearance, whether he is muscular or fat.
In the case of the latter, they often make fun of him.
CJ will also reference his weight in his casual dialog. Here is one example:

It's worth listening to these lines.
These are some of the funniest ones in the entire game.
Rockstar Games recorded several of them for fat CJ.
GTA San Andreas players can test it out for themselves.
The game rewards players with this attention to detail.
At the very least, CJ is rather proud of his body frame.

Random Phone-Calls:

At some point, Big Smoke will call CJ to talk about his weight problems. CJ will fight back, saying Big Smoke is the last person he needs to hear this from. Sweet will also tell CJ to hit the gym more often.

GTA San Andreas puts in as many fat jokes as they possibly can. For some reason, Ryder seems to be nicer about it than Big Smoke and Sweet. However, he prefers to make fun of the player's driving skills instead.

Some more details:
One of the biggest strengths of GTA San Andreas is how meticulous it is. Regardless of the weight class, the game will comment on it. From story characters to pedestrians, there is attention to every little detail.

Size does matter in GTA San Andreas. Whether a player is thin, muscular, or fat, it does affect gameplay in unique ways.

The main way to manage Fat is to head to one of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' various gyms.

It's possible to buy cars in GTA San Andreas.

Info: You can purchase any of the vehicles that you have previously delivered.
However, you can only choose from a certain list of vehicles depending on the day of the week.

Carl Johnson (CJ) returns to Los Santos after spending five years on the East Coast when his brother Sweet Johnson informs him about his mother's death. However, when he reaches home to Grove Street, he gets captured by C.R.A.S.H. officers, who take his money and force him to get into their car before dropping him off at Jefferson, a Ballas territory.

Step 1: Get on the BMX bicycle.

Step 2: Make the way back to Grove Street to receive the first mission.
(Follow the "CJ" icon on the map and go to Johnson House in Grove Street)

After returning to Grove Street after five years of being away, CJ heads back into his late mother's house...

There is no gameplay during this mission, as it is simply formed by two cutscenes.
The first begins automatically after completion of the first mission and the following mission is automatically triggered following the end of the second cutscene.

The mission Sweet & Kendl is unlocked automatically after the end of it.

It is triggered automatically after Big Smoke.

• Get on the bike.
  
• Follow Sweet.
  (if CJ falls too far behind with Sweet, Sweet stop until you head back to him)
  On this position you'll head into a new cutscene soon
  
• Now follow Ryder.
