The classic

The classic tank is the very first tank you will start off with, and is the developers idea of a well balanced tank. it does a decent job in all categories, but never expect them to go above and beyond in any of them even with pros on the wheel.
threat level as standard: 4
threat level as pro: 6

<the following assumes 1v1 matches>
hard counters: hunters, snipers
soft counters: true tanks, trappers, ambushers,
can counter: medics/supports

speed: average
health: squishy
damage: average
rarity: very common

sidenote: make sure the guy you fight is not a pro in disguise or you may need a brand new keyboard/mouse/controller/whatever you use, and the explosions from the weapon can and will cause lag sometimes

The sniper

The sniper is the only class that truly cares about being killed at least once in the game because a random person came out of nowhere and hit them in the face with a shotgun or winged missile while upside down and at one hp. The developers apparently hate this class. and often times so does the guy who just barely spawned half a second ago and is already dead. snipers almost always are hated in almost every single game you can play as one exept in battlefeild because tanks. luckily once you actually get to the five snipers sitting on top of the glass domes or tops of buildings they are really easy to kill because of their worse than everyone else fire rate.
their almost always using stealth supports so they dont show up on the map and auto heal in case theres another tryhard across the map thinking he is a good pick. they almost always use the spider or beetle and are easy prey when not in the nests they spent 5 years in before dying.
threat level as standard: 6
threat level as pro: 10

hard counters: hunter
soft counters: ambusher, tank
can be copy countered
can counter: classics, medics/supports

speed: slightly sluggish
damage: baseball bat to the stomach
health: tough, but not rambo tough
rarity: pawn shops

sidenote: read all duck and cover magazines and for the love of Flavio... BE AWARE

The [true] tanks

tadaa, here comes the guy who really needs teammates and a medic hugging his @$$. seriously these jokes almost always get killed by a guy going circles around him. he may be slow and easy to outrun but if he gets to you, you better have an escape plan or a hunter right behind him. most tanks i see have either a minigun, missile, or some other high damage thing on them in an effort to do as much damage as possible before dying inevitably and honorlessly. the good thing about them is they can afford to put whatever the hell they want on them because they dont care at all about their mass <i would make a fat joke here, but all of 'em are controversial and really bloated> the class was almost unplayable when the game was made, but at least now they can at least be slightly effective at being bullet sponges with a kd ratio lower than a hookers standards.
threat as standard: 3
threat as pro: 5

hard counters: sniper, hunter, trapper, ambusher
soft counters: classics
can be copy countered
can counter: medics/support

speed: squidwards reflexes
damage: my name is tank mccrazyrockets m1spam
health: juggernauts punching bag
rarity: non-corrupt non-racist non-doughnut-eating cops

sidenote: when a tank has backup, then he is a problem, as he can easily become an unkillable sentry amongst a swarm of flies protecting him

The ambusher

Hey, that thing wasnt there a sec... OH SH#T!!! this guy utilises high damage at close range, and hides from the minimap by using stealth gear with just about anything else. mainly using shotguns, these guys have the power to erase entire teams off the map, given the right senarios, and a stupid team. these guys are a real problem to those who arent aware, and even the aware people can still be caught off guard and outright owned. they often hide in the most rediculous spots at almost every opportunity, and dont show up unless they know they will get the easy kill. these people thrive on chaos, and they dont take anything other than triple kills.
threat as standard: 5
threat as pro: 7

hard counters: those with mortars or those who are aware
soft counters: snipers, hunters, tanks
can counter: the unaware

speed: as random as deadpool
damage: the in game equivalent of a chuck norris roundhouse kick
health: as random as uncle grandpa

sidenote: this guy is almost always a broken enemy to fight until you catch his chameleon act. then he is more of an easy pick or a simple hazard to watch for

The trapper

Hey look, a lone enemy all alone, lemme try to get him for you gu... AHH! ITS A TRAP! this guy works very similar to the ambusher exept the trapper uses his appearence on the minimap as a lure to get others to attack him, thinking he is afk or a noob who doesnt know what stick together means. this guy usually hides in chokepoints with really hard hitting weapons that one shot most players, and you bet he will know exactly what angle your coming from. these crazy demons from hell occur rarely, but they always know what they are doing. because if they didnt they would die in half a second
threat as standard: 2
threat as pro: 6

hard counters: hunters
soft counters: tanks
can counter: medic/ support, classics

speed: random like indian folk tales
damage: damage... damage? DAAAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAGE!! DAAAAAMAAAAAAAAGE!!
health: who cares?
rarity: tom clancy games

sidenote: I dont care what or who you are, never assume a lone player is not a trapper, because the trappers entire playstyle revlolves around you being stupid enough to walk into their traps.

The met... i mean hunter

I just spaw... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! these enemies are the current meta and everyone knows it. forget about hitting these A-holes unless they deliberately stand still, and at the speeds their going their health does not even matter, because its almost as if their teleporting around you while your sitting like a duck in water. to make matters worse the developers added different toys for these meta breaking opponents to make sure they are as unhittable as possible. even if you land a hit it better be a sniper shot or a mega cannon shot because one hit on them is a godsend for you. they can go absolutely anywhere on the map, meaning on land or on sea, on a ceiling or on the ground, no matter where you may stand, these guys will stop your killstreak and riddle your tank with more holes than a cheesegrater.
threat as standard: meta
threat as pro: metametametametametameta

hard counters: being on another server
soft counters: ambushers, trappers
can be copy countered
can counter: tanks, classics, snipers, medics/support

speed: gatta go fest
damage: i legally changed my name to bullet spam
health: a hundred year old man who is only alive because of life support machines
rarity: amount of stars in our dimension

sidenote: these guys watch the minimap like hawkes, and even if someone blinks just once, their screwed. sorry bro, but this meta isnt slowing down or weakening at all.

The medic/support

said almost nobody in this game, as almost everyone has a better way to heal themselves without a guy shooting green goo at them, sure you can be a freindly just in it for the lolz, but as a teammate your a walking, rolling, or floating target whom everyone really wants to kill. its a shame the tank that you were healing didnt even notice you were dying at all. nah he was focused on the sniper he couldnt hit because he had a grenade launcher and was well out of range of the shots. keep in mind im talking about the devoted medics who want to heal their teammates to get points

threat as standard: 0
threat as pro: 0

hard counters: literally everyone
soft counters: nobody
can counter: nobody

speed: as fast as is needed
damage: negative damage
health: sitting duck
rarity: you paying attention to your walls

sidenote: if there were more of these or if they were buffed this wouldnt be such a bad playstyle.
