Minimizing blur while reducing visual artifacts

Introduction

RDR2 has a very blurry TAA implementation but disabling TAA leaves you with many visual artifacts like mostly transparent trees, thin objects having striped shadows and boiling in dark places. I compiled this list of setting to change in order to reduce these artifacts.

Settings

Far Shadow Quality: Low
Fixes striped shadows with TAA disabled
TAA: Off
Fixes blur
MSAA: 2x/4x/8x
Setting MSAA to any value that isn't "Off" fixes the mostly transparent trees but higher values come with a huge performance cost.
Advanced Settings:
Full Resolution Screen Space Ambient Occlusion: On
Fixes boiling with TAA disabled

I kind of chose a bad spot for the comparison but I'm not doing it again.
