outside of the game steps

  1. have a Copy of x4 Foundations, and Visit https://www.egosoft.com/ Create or login to an existing account
  2. IF creating an account Verify your email address (that means checking Email)
  3. go to https://forum.egosoft.com/ and click on the Game Registration
  4. Login to Steam (because why would you be looking at a steam guide IF you bought it on epic)

in game Main Menu steps

  1. Run the game at the menus select
  2. Settings
  3. Online Features
  4. egosoft login
  5. egosoft password and hit the login picture

Once you start playing

  1. start/load an unmodded game/save
  2. Player information
  3. Inventory
  4. Venture Inventory
  5. Enable Venture Extension Access
  6. AND ENJOY!
