Leveling

Start as the shaman maximising DS and Savagery first before everything else and along with Wendigo totem when you can reach him.

Until lev 50 Devouring Swarm is your best and the safest way for you to farm. One point in Mondrogen's pack and few in Heart of the Wild will be more than enogh.Till this point a 2h weapon is the way to go for u and not dual weild. Use any rings/amulet/relic that you can find.

After lev 50 start to go into Nightblade tree Shadow Strike and Ring of Steel you should aim , keeping Shadow just 1 point . PB invest points if you wanna get close to mobs and make sure you put the totem down as will heal you a lot.

By now have 1 point into Blade Barrier as it will save u a lot.
Devotions wise start with Jackal+Falcon+Fox and from there it depends what u wanna do for tier 2-3. It's not so hard to figure out.
All your points put them into pshyque leaving for the end like 20 points when you reach 85 if you can.

SKILLS and Buttons distribution
This build mainly based on Bleed(main source of dmg) mixed with pshy/cold/pierce dmg and big on debuffs VileBlood shouldes -33% bleed debuff , bolth rend -33 bleed res+devoring swarm-33 bleed res from Huntress(devotion) + on top -125 offensive ability that I've bond togheter.
With the weapons and the rest of gear we got a pretty nice Bleed Dot build that can melt very fast elites/bosses , fast the rest and not so fast the undead and the oblivians.( farm undead nemesis lower diff , cause is gone take forever, really like forever; or better do it in group, is way faster)

Main damage comes as you are stacking bleed on top of your enemies and you lower their resistansin the mean time.
That been said u can go range bleed build as well, using Devoring swarm as your main dmg dealer+grasping vines, going as a weapon for a Gutripper. Thought it will work for a trickster, is better to go dual wield in my opinion, but never tested yet.
i did also a 2h build using the 3 pieces Wildblood: 2h weapon+shouders+belt. Works nicelly.
Going to skills:
Dual build,

Savagery max it for close combat. Thought it has been nerfed a bit , it's still great.(left click)

Shadow strike :it's your gap closer or your escape . 1 point there I've put and bound Elemental Storm -20 elem res.
3 Q---------- it's my [Ring of Steel](RoS) skill , 1 point and on the same line the Slaughter is max for the crit and fumble 5 sec.

W----------Pneumatic Burst(PB) huge heal and attack speed is max also; on the same line went for SD and EA to increase my chances of staying alive and to raise my all resistace a bit.

E---------Wendigo Totem max... nothing here to say is pure explanatory. U need to stay alive, this will help you a lot along with PB.

R---------It's my Blade Trap. You can go instead with Grasping Vines(GV) if you do not like it. I went for keeping mobs in place and for that -23 def debuff and the bleed +heal from the Devouring blades. THIS is optional and not really necessary. I just took it.

F-------- it;s the Bloodbath skill granted by my relic Slaughter. Every 3 sec a nice bleed dmg works just great.

V-------- Blade Barrier -your life will be saved/sometimes as that reflect is so powerful.

9.C---- Blade Spirit bound with Falcon swoop for clearing trash and those undead, applies more bleed on them and psyh/cold dmg as well.
My left big thumb 2 buttons are for heal potions/energy.

As you can see still is a work in progress and might change as I wanna try different options.
Use this as a inspiration for your build.

The way I play him is easy:
Cast DS---cast Blade trap---use Shadow to get close----cast ring of steel---put down totem---cast blade spirit----Use PB if they burst u down---hit them and between repeat DS and all....
Using this ablities really depends of situations and what type of mobs you are facing .
Use your skills to the best and things might work out different for you.
I died many times untill got the heck of him to play him the right way.

And for 2h weapon build: and remember the 2h rifle Gutripper u can use, but soldier is best for this weapon.

Items that you need and would be nice to have.

This items are kinda BiS and aren't really necessary. A bit of variation is there . Basically wanna increase your bleed dmg and this one's just do that.
You may have them of not , but as long as u can manage your resists and life you'll be fine without them.
