Data Vault Locations - Patch 8.0

Data Vaults are a unique way to uncover the story behind X4: Universe

As per X4's official user guide[wiki.egosoft.com]:

A timeline of events that constitute the background to X4 including events from previous X games. More information is available in-game via the data vault entries

Below, marked as a spoiler, you can find all of the timeline entries.

As a bonus you will receive the steam achievement - "Historian", when you find all of the data vaults.

The locations of the data vaults are as followed. Please note that I'm not sure if the order is the same as the timeline entries, but it should be close enough.

It is located west of the gate to Segaris.

The location of the vault is in the north-east side of the sector.

The Data Vault is located in the north-west of the sector, in (or near) a gas cloud.

The data vault is located in the south-east of the center.

The data vault is located south-east in the third mineral field.

The data vault is located north-west of the center of the zone.

The location of the vault is south of the center of the sector:

The data vault is located west of the gate to Lasting Vengeance and north of the gate to Freedom's Reach

The data vault is located east of the center of the sector.

The location of the data vault is in the south-west corner of the sector:

The data vault location is south of the gate to Nopileos' Fortune VI.

As a bonus you can see the location of the Elite Vanguard (S) ship ready for claiming. Its north - north-west of the superhighway to Path of profit.

The location of the data vault is in the south-east almost corner of the map, this vault was really hard to find initially.

It is located next to the gate to Fires of Defeat

The gate is located about 300 km south-east from the sector entry point.

The data vault is located in the ore field in the center of the sector.

The data vault is located about 300 km west of the gate to Mists of Artemis

The data vault is located in the gas clouds next to the superhighway to Hewa's Twin II

The data vault is located next to the Jump gate to Two Grand

The location of the vault is about 300 km in north from the entry gate.

The data vault is located next to the gate to Faulty Logic I

The data vault is located next to the middle section of the smaller highway.

The data vault is located in the upper central part of the sector:
