Disclaimer:

The method discribed in this guide uses drive-by boarding.
If you concider drive-by boarding cheating, this guide might not be for you.
It is meant to give people the fastest possible way to millions of credits without using mods, the least amount of grinding and no upfront cost.
The DLC Tides of Avarice helps alot but is not necessary.
New players don´t need to shy away as I will try to explain everything step by step.
English is not my native language, so please beare with me.

TLDR:

-use your first ship to claim the Odysseus Vanguard in Faulty Logic VII (x=-165k, z=146k, y=0k)
-fly an AI pilot in your starter ship to the wharf in The Moon sector, set up an alert for terran XL combat ships to get notification when an Asgard leaves the wharf
-when an Asgard leaves the wharf have your AI pilot follow the Asgard so you don´t lose track of it
-sell every weapon and unnacessary item on the Odysseus, replace necessary MK2 items with the cheapest MK1 version to get the money to buy marines
-fill the Odysseus with veteran marins at the VIG-wharf in Windfall 1, buy recruits, sell recruits keep veterans, repeat until full on veterans or your money is spent
-find a Shuyaku Vanguard and drive-by board it
-fill the Shuyaku with veteran marines, sell the Odyseus if you need money for that
-wait for an Asgard to leave the wharf in The Moon or find one somewhere else
-use the Shuyaku to drive-by board the Asgard
-sell the Asgard for 50+ million credits, new Asgards will be produced when they lose one, so no need to keep the first one you get
-repeat until you have enough money and/or enough Asgards

Step by Step:

1. Setup:

Dock at the nearest station and talk to NPCs until you find one that is cheap enough for you to hire, no stars needed in any category. Hire the NPC as captain for your starter ship, wait for him to arrive and leave the Station. Use some online X4-Map to see where you are and where you have to go. https://www.qsna.eu/x4/map for example. With this map specificaly you can use the shown positions of the gates to estimate where to look for the gates. You want to fly to Holy Vision in order to get to Faulty Logic 7. Save your game in Holy Vision in case the attempt goes south. Fly through the Holy Vision->Faulty Logic 1 gate with active travel drive/mode (Shift+1) in order to not get shot on the other side. The "gate" from FL 1 to FL 7 is one of those weird Accelerator thingies and will deactivate travel drive once you reach the other side. Prepare to engage travel drive again the moment you emerge in FL 7. You will be fast when exiting the "gate" and the travel drive should activate immediately, so you stay fast and don´t get shot by the gate-guards.
Do not take the direkt route to the Odysseus as there is a Minefield between it and the "gates".

When there are no more Xenon in scanner range you can stop and use the long range scanner (Shift+3) to locate the Odysseus. Once you found it, get closer and use you short range scanner (Shift+2) to look for the small red blinking antenna thingy usualy on top of the bridge/superstructure.

Position your ship close to it (in order to not have to spacewalk for minutes) and leave your ship in the spacesuite. Use the repairbeam of your spacesuite on the blinking antenna thingy to claim the Odysseus. Get back into your starter ship and dock it at your new Odysseus Vanguard. Save your game (in case something goes south) and fly the Odysseus back to Holy Vision in travel drive/mode, beware the minefield.

When you reach Holy Vision (save your game) set up a custom alert in the Player Information Tap under the Global Orders option. Give the alert a name, set the minimum timer to 1 minute, leave the range at galaxy wide, set target faction to Terran Protectorate and the target class to XL-ships, remove the "every ship"-option and set target purpose to "combat". I like to use the "Notfallwarnung 08" (emergency warning 08 in english or something like that) as notification sound, as it is distinct and I haven´t heard it in other notifications yet. Now you should hear the notification sound and get a "in this sector" notification when ever one of your ships comes across a Tokoy or Asgard. You can check wich sector the notification came from in the Player Information tap under Logbook should you have missed it.

Now undock the AI piloted starter ship from the Odysseus and use the "fly here"-order to uncover the gates you need in order to get the starter ship to terran space and into the sector The Moon. Use the "explore" option on an uncovered gate in order to get your AI pilot to fly through the gate. Once he is through use "fly here" again to uncover the next gate and so on. Should you be lucky and find an Intervention Asgard on your way, set your AI piloted starter ship to follow the Asgard in order to know where it is. Even if your pilot is in another sector and no other ship is around to spot it, his order will always point directly to the current location of the Intervention Asgard.

While you guide your AI piloted starter ship to The Moon, you should travel to a wharf of your choice in your Odysseus. Preferably to the VIG-wharf in Windfall 1 if you have the Tides of Avarice DLC as they yield a good amount of veteran marines per trade. Should work with other faction´s wharfs too though, just takes longer I suppose.

Once there, sell all Items from the Odysseus that are not necessary (weapons, turrets, police scanner, deployables) and replace necessary MK2/3 Items with cheap MK 1s to get the money you need to fill the crew compartment with veteran marines. MK 1 shield should be enough, don´t go out unshielded. Buy marine recruits, let the trade finish (orange timer), then sell the recruits that didn´t get added as veterans. You will need to click the small trash bin icon next to the red number after setting the recruit number to 0, in order to get the trade done. Rins and repeat until your Odysseus is full on veteran marines. (google "Fire and Rehire" Method if necessary)

2. Your First Boarding Operation:

Save your game and start looking for a Shuyaku VANGUARD. It needs to be the Vanguard version if you want to attempt to board an Asgard in the next step, cause it has almost 50 more crew slots. If you are willing to take a one time -10 Argon reputation loss you can drive-by board the Shuyaku in Argon space. If not you should follow the Shuyaku until it is in some non Argon sector.
I´ll explain how to handle the boarding operation for "in Argon space" just to show that there is not mutch to worry about, unless you attempt the boarding next to some police or patroling ships. Most game starts have enough Argon Rep that a -10 hit will not make you permanently hostile. The Shuyaku should not be able to take down your Odysseus shields so you can aproach it in normal drive/mode if you like. The picture showcases boarding with active travel drive/mode just to show off. You should have sold all deployables and turrets but just in case check your ship info and set all turrets and drones to "inactive" in order to not get more reputation loss then necessary. Get close to the Shuyaku while it is not in travel drive/mode (or just slow°°), hit the pause button and right click the Shuyaku. Select "Boarding" to open the boarding menu.
The boarded ship and police will get hostile for a few minutes not the faction though.

Use all your veterans, select the strongest option in both drop-down-menus and start the boarding operation. Unpause the game and tank some hits with your Odysseus in hopes that less of your boarding pods get targeted. We are not concerned with money here, we only need to get enough marines on board the Shuyaku to get the job done. Check the map, if most of the pods are on or close to the Shuyaku engage travel drive/mode in order to avoid the police and patrole units that will get send after you if you attempted this in Argon space. Now you can leave the sector to avoid police shooting at you. No need to stick around. When enough marines got on board you will become owner of your new Shuyaku Vanguard in 5 to 30 minutes.

3. Your Second Boarding Operation:

Fill your Shuyaku with veterans like before, sell the Odysseus if you need more money.
Find an Intervention Asgard (preferably out of Terran space) and attempt the next drive-by boarding operation. Did I mention to save your game before attempting? Position your Shuyaku 30-50 km from the gate through wich the Asgard will emerge. Stop your scout/starter ship from following the Asgard when it is in its sensor range and set your Shuyaku´s/self piloted ship´s guidance system on the Asgard. So that your Scout will not be harmed during boarding and you will still be able to see the Asgard´s current location.

Time your travel drive/mode start so that you will get close to the emerging Asgard and have a good speed, so the Asgard does not kill you. Do the same drive-by as before, just with more speed. Leave the sector or fly far enough away so that the Asgard stops following you.
Wait until your marines took over the ship. If it didn´t work load your savegame and attempt with a different angle and/or speed in order to get more pods on target/less pods destroyed before making contact. If you don´t like timing your attempt to the emerging Asgard you can also follow it until it reaches it´s destination and stops using travel mode all the time, this may end up in Xenon space though.

4. Money or Ship:

Terrans will rebuild there Intervention ships when they lose one, so you can get more Asgards.
Sell your first Asgard and keep watch on the wharf in The Moon to spot the next one.

Congratulations you just made 50+ million credits with no grind what so ever, in less then 3-4 hours (if you were lucky) with no money to begin with (except the first captain hiring fee).

Feel free to repeat,
but be aware you will miss out on the early game....

I managed to speedrun my first Asgard in under 2 hours 20 minutes.
How quickly can you get it?

Did I miss something or made something so obscure that you have questions?
Please inform me or give me feedback.
Not you "I don´t like drive-by boarding"-guys though, this guide was not for you.
