Brief understanding!

I believe you are here to look into the mess of automated ships killing itself finding itself in places it should not be in!

Yes, you need to understand, you have to set a hard limitation where your ship goes(where your ship AI functions in)

Afraid not, I have the solution are as follow!

THE ORDERS!!!

!) this part creates options for your automated ship to operate in

THE SELECTION!

  1. this is the part where you decide where your automated ship are allow to operate.
  1. and for a station setting for their automated subordinates.

Ahoy! commander's setting

In case, you had working with subordinates, then "Commander's Settings" becomes your useful tool.

4) This is the interface use by the fleet commander
this is it subordinates interface, unchecking the "following commander's settings" checkbox allow more choice using the drop down list as per normal blacklist
5) and this is interface use by station commander
same here subordinates interface, but with unchecking the "following commander's settings" checkbox allow more choice using the drop down list as per normal blacklist.
notice this here uses the default set by the station.

NO WHERE ELSE!

6) And yes it work the other way round as well, limiting certain to operate in certain sectors only.

BONUS: TRADE RULEZ

And for those selfish monopolies

7) This is the trade rules to be effectively no buy or sell on the global orders library.
This is the selection portion of the stations using the orders.
