How to get prefect condition longarm weapons from npcs

For the following weapons this trick would work.

• Bolt Action Rifle
  
• Repeating Shotgun
  
• Springfield Rifle
  
• Litchfield Repeater
  
• Lanchaster Repeater
  
• Carbine Repeater

Carbine Repeater is a weapon which you start with and can be found arround the map in ranches, but this trick still work with it.

Potentially more weapons can be found on npcs but im not 100% sure since they are rarer, they include:

• Semi-Auto Shotgun
  
• Pump Action Shotgun

Those weapons can be found in cabines and cleaned up so its somewhat redundent to aquire them this way.

Find an npc riding a horse having the gun you want stored on the horse, make sure the npc dosnt hold the gun, if he did when he died the gun will be worn.
Kill the npc and the horse, or drag the npc off the horse, make sure you close enough to them to see the gun if you kill them, the gun should be on the ground in perfect condition.

Worth noting that there are two categories of npcs with each having their own pool of weapons:
Good npcs which you will lose honor for killing always will carry Repeating Shotgun or Carbine Repeater.
And bad npcs which carry the rest of the weapons, there is no honor loss from killing them, Repeating Shogun is used by them too.

Tips:

• If the npc is holding the gun, back away and watch him put the gun back into the horse
  
• If youre seeing an npc from the front, get off the horse and equip your weapon (preferably a shotgun) preemptively.
  
• If the npc has said something to you, and then you draw the gun, the player tends to say something that cause the npc to draw the gun. in order to prevent this, tip 2 is good, but also speaking to any other npc, including your horse will cause the npc to look away and prevent the offensive voiceline by the player.
  
• Shotguns are the best weapons for doing this since deadeye isnt mandatory. aim for the leg, the shot could kill both the man and the horse together.
  
• Dragging the person off the horse works fine too.

Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shotgun (bonus! technically not a long arm) can be found in perfect condition in the smaller sallons both in Valentine and in Saint Denis, the bartenders have them, find a way to make them draw and you have yourself the gun for free.

Carcano Rifle and Rolling Block Rifle can be carried on the back of lawmen when the town is on "hard lockdown" (with the red fill, sawrming with lawmen). Get a bounty high enough preferably in New Hannover and get the gun from one of the lawmen patrolling in the town, the carcano or rolling block will drop in perfect condition if the lawmen carries another longarm weapon, they should carry the desired longarm on their back.
If you do this in New Hannover, you can get arrested in Ambarino for 5$ and clear both Ambarino and New Hannover bounties for the low low price of just 4$ with a bonus of honor.

Cattleman Revolver (another bonus!) find a fisherman and kill him, for some reason the cattleman that he drop will be in perfect condition.
