Tired of looking for missing grubs? (Get Some Grub Achievement Guide)

Requirement: Squish all 333 Antlion Grubs in Episode Two.

Normally, you’d have to explore carefully through the entire game and squish every grub. If you miss even one, the counter resets if you restart a chapter from the beginning — which can be frustrating.

You can use the developer console to quickly get the achievement without hunting for every grub. Step 1: Enable Developer Console

• Load Chapter 2 (or any chapter).
  
• Pause the game → go to Options → Keyboard → Advanced.
  
• Check Enable Developer Console (~) → click OK.

Step 2: Open Console

• Press ` (the key under Esc — not the single quote).

Step 3: Spawn Grubs
Type this in console:
A grub will spawn near you. Squish it. Repeat until the achievement unlocks.

Instead of typing the command every time, bind it to a key:
note: Replace k with any key you like. Now, pressing that key will instantly spawn a grub — just squish away until the achievement pops.

• You don’t need to squish all 333 naturally if you spawn them — the achievement unlocks once the total reaches 333.
  
• If you prefer a legit run, remember the counter only decreases if you restart a chapter from the beginning, so always continue from your saves.
