DISCLAIMER: WORK IN PROGRESS
This guide is not fully complete, but the information that's here is fully functional. While a lot of weapons don't really have anything major to take into account, this guide is useful for weapons where breakpoints are of great importance.

This guide is nevertheless available to view for all despite not being finished, mainly lacking due to an inconsitent format and visual presentation.

Ideally more fun and useful breakpoints will be added thanks to feedback in the comments, and when/if we get around to working further on it.

Otherwise, enjoy what is here for now!

Breakpoints

Breakpoints are a threshold in power that allows the heroes to perform certain actions that they would not be able to otherwise. This guide attempts to list some fun and useful breakpoints, with room for more via suggestions and discoveries. The guide will also make mention of some non-breakpoint scenarios for weapons, such as when a otherwise overlooked talent might be fun to use with a specific weapon.

If you're interested in useful stagger breakpoints for your weapons, check out this guide made by user Ars0n.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2200946092&searchtext=stagger
There will be a select few mentions of stagger breakpoints below. Keep in mind that with all shield-weapons, a useful stagger breakpoint is using the "Opportunist" trait along with 26% power vs Plague Monks in order to stagger every enemy out of their attacks using a push attack, except for Bosses, Monsters, Packmasters, Chaos Warriors currently performing their overhead attacks, and Savages performing their leaping axe attacks.

For a myriad of fun and useful stagger breakpoints, consult the guide above.

Bretonnian Longsword ⚔️

On Foot Knight, a fun and reliable stagger breakpoint is using 20% power vs Chaos/Armoured and the Staggering Force talent, which allows for the diagonal heavy (Heavy 1 and 2) attacks to cancel and stagger all elites in the game on a bodyshot, even when a Chaos Warrior is performing an overhead attack. Since the weapon loses power as it cleaves, this is only reliable on a single Chaos Warrior at a time, but nevertheless you can properly stunlock them using this stagger breakpoint.

Brettonian Sword and Shield

At 2 stacks of Virtue of the Ideal you can one-shot Fanatics with a light headshot.
At 3 stacks of Virtue of the Ideal you can one-shot Marauders with a heavy headshot.

Executioner Sword

One-shots Stormvermin on headshot with Smiter and 2 stacks of The more the Merrier! and active.
Kills a Chaos Warrior in 2 headshots if one of them is a crit with Smiter and +10% Power vs Chaos and 2 stacks of The more the Merrier! and active..

10% Skaven, Smiter
One shot-headshot SV/hookrat with charged attack.
Two shot-headshot Mauler charged attack.
Three shot-headshot CW.

25%, Smiter, 10% Chaos, Virtue of Heroism
Heavy attack oneshot-headshot SV
Heavy attack twoshot-headshot Mauler/CW

Can two-shot Chaos Warriors with headshots using 10% Power vs Chaos, Smiter and 2 stacks of Virtue of the Ideal.

Great Hammer

A notable use-case for the Limb-Splitter talent, which allows Mercenary to swing his Great Hammer with heavy attacks uninterrupted by any amount of Stormvermin or other foes. It can even swing through a Rotshield currently blocking with his shield. Regular Chaos Warriors and Monsters will still interrupt the attacks.

Greatsword

One-shots Fanatics on heavy bodyshot using Smiter and +10% Power vs Chaos.
One-shots Clanrats on heavy bodyshot using Smiter and 3 stacks of The More the Merrier! active.

This weapon Cleaves armoured enemies and all infantry very well on all careers, but especially on Mercenary using his native cleave-buff. Using the Limb-Splitter talent for extra cleave force is absolutely not required, as you're unlikely to ever have a lack of cleaving power anyways.

Halberd

One-shots Fanatics on a light headshot with 4 stacks of The more the Merrier!] active,
Two-shots Stormvermin with two heavy 1s with +10% Power vs Skaven, Smiter and 2 stacks of The More the Merrier! active

Mace

One-shots Fanatics and Clanrats on light headshot with +10% Power vs Infantry/+10% Power vs Skaven, 5 stacks of The more the Merrier! and Reikland Reaper active
Two-shots Stormvermin with 2 heavy headshots using +10% Power vs Skaven and 2 stacks of The More the Merrier! active

Mace and Shield

Can one-shot Fanatics with a light headshot using Smiter, +20% Damage vs Chaos/Infantry and two stacks of Virtue of the Ideal.
Can one-shot Clanrats with a light headshot using Smiter, +10% Damage vs /Infantry and three stacks of Virtue of the Ideal.

As with all shields, a useful stagger breakpoint is using the "Opportunist" trait along with 26% power vs Plague Monks in order to stagger every enemy out of their attacks with a push attack, except for Monsters and Chaos Warriors in their overhead attacks.

Mercenary can use "The more the Merrier" along with 20% power vs Berserkers/Skaven to safely reach this breakpoint. Just one stack is required, because of how power is calculated this talent works even if it seems like it would only grant 25% power in total.

Footknight has the option between choosing "Staggering Force" or simply going with the regular 20% power vs Berserkers/Skaven and Enhanced Power.

Mace and Sword

One-shots Fanatics on headshot using Smiter and 3 stacks of Virtue of the Ideal.

Spear and Shield

Sword

Sword and Shield

Tuskgor Spear

One-shots Fanatics and Clanrats on light headshot using Smiter 1 stack of The More the Merrier! active and +10% Power vs Skaven.
Two-shots Stormvermin on headshot with 2 heavy attacks with +10% Power vs Skaven and 2 stacks of The More the Merrier! active

Blunderbuss 🏹

Power vs Infantry and Skaven/Chaos makes sense for more general damage output. Consider crit-chance combined with the Scrounger trait for a bit more ammo sustain, especially on Mercenary and Huntsman who can reach up to 20% crit-chance.

Being a shotgun, the Blunderbuss has an innate damage bonus vs Berserkers, meaning that additional damage vs Berserkers is of no real use. Nurgloth the Eternal, despite being a boss, counts as a Chaos/Berserker enemy, allowing the Blunderbuss to deal great damage during this fight.

Handgun

Can one shot-body shot all specials and stormvermin with bodyshot

Different ways to achieve this:
20% infantry, 10% skaven, 10% chaos
or
20% vs infantry + enhanced power.
or
10% vs chaos, 10% vs skaven, 10% infantry + enhanced power

Longbow

Option 1
+10% Power vs Chaos
+20% Crit Power
and Hunter

One-shots Assassins and Skaven Weapon Teams on fully drawn bodyshots with Enhanced Power.
One-shots Chaos Warriors on headshots with a crit using +20% Power vs Chaos, +40% Crit Power and Enhanced Power, One in the Eye, and Hunter being procced. The arrow which activates Hunter will also recieve the bonus damage that Hunter provides.

Option 2
20% skaven, 10% chaos, 10% armour, Enhanced Power and Hunter:

One shot-bodyshot Assassin/Gunrat/Firerat with full charged arrow
One shot-headshot all specials/SV/Monk/Berserker with full charged arrow

When Hunter activates:
One shot-bodyshot SV with fully charged arrow

During Hunter's Prowl:
One shot-headshots all specials/SV/Monk/Berserker with a quick arrow

Repeater Handgun

10% infantry, 20% skaven or replace 10% of your choice with enhanced power
One shot-body shot assassin
Two shot-body shot Gas/Storm/Leech
Three shot-bodyshot hookrat

Blessed Blade 🟣

Axe ⚔️

One-shots Fanatics and Clanrats on headshots.
One-shots Fanatics on bodyshots with Smiter, 20% Power vs Chaos/infantry and 3 stacks of Trophy Hunter.

Axe and Shield

Cog Hammer

One-shots Stormvermin on heavy headshots using Smiter and the triggered stack of Trophy Hunter

10% skaven, Smiter to oneshot-headshot Stormvermin on heavy.

Dual Axes

Notable Breakpoints
Can one-shot Fanatics on light headshots.
Can one-shot Clanrats on light headshot using Smiter and two stacks of trophy hunter.

Crit power could be a valid choice for this weapon if you are running increased crit-chance on Slayer.
Extra stamina for push attacks is a very good option.

Dual Hammers

Great Axe

Can one-shot Fanatics on a light bodyshot
Can one-shot marauders on headshot using Smiter, +20% Power vs Chaos/Infantry, two stacks of Trophy Hunter and Limb Splitter

Great Hammer

Two-shots Stormvermin on light headshots using Smiter, Limb Splitter and the stacks from trophy Hunter

Hammer

Hammer and Shield

War Pick

Chaos Warriors: Using the Dawi-Drop talent, requires 64% power. Can be one-shot body-shot with a fully charged heavy attack, whilst mid-air during Leap using Dawi-Drop as Slayer.

Using Dawi Drop, requires 64% power vs Chaos/Armored to achieve this.

Example build:
- Using the Skull-Splitter talent.
- Using the Smiter talent.
- Using the Dawi-Drop talent.
- Using an additional 17% power vs Chaos/Armored.

Drakefire Pistols 🔥

Drakegun

Power vs Chaos and Infantry is useful for general damage output, and combined well with Barrage or possibly Thermal Equalizer.

Outcast Engineer could use crit chance and the Hunter trait for acquiring the damage buff, and then utilizing the Crank-Gun for increased damage against the marked armour classes. Fry a monster for a couple of seconds and then unleash the main firepower, if you like.

Crossbow 🏹

50% vs Skaven/Monsters allows for a bodyshot oneshot. Can be achieved with some talents, and characters. Witch Hunter marking a Packmaster makes this very doable.

One-shots Skaven Weapon Teams with one bodyshot with 30% Power vs Skaven/Armoured and Enhanced Power.

Grudge-Raker

Power vs Infantry and Skaven/Chaos makes sense for more general damage output. Consider crit-chance combined with the Scrounger trait for a bit more ammo sustain.

When playing Ranger Veteran, you could go for the Hunter trait if you can scavenge enough ammo to sustain spamming the shotgun into hordes. Hunter will proc and enable extra damage, allowing you to easily pick off unarmoured enemies by spamming the shotgun whenever viable.

30% ammo pouch and faster reload talents relevant

Handgun

One-shots every special in the game with a bodyshot using +30% Power vs Skaven/Chaos/Infantry and Enhanced Power. Enhanced power can be subsituted by an extra 10% Power vs Infantry.

20% infantry, 10% skaven, 10% chaos
One shot-body shot all specials and stormvermin with bodyshot

OR

20% vs infantry and enhanced power to 1shot all specials and stormvermin in a bodyshot

OR

10% chaos and 10% skaven and 10% infantry + enhanced power

Masterwork Pistol

One-shots every special and elite in the game, apart from Chaos Warriors and Maulers, with a bodyshot using 30% Power vs Chaos/Infantry and Spotter. Or 20% vs Chaos and Infantry + Enhanced Power and Spotter(+10%).

One-shots every special in the game apart from Wargors with with a bodyshot using 30% Power vs Skaven/Chaos/Infantry and Enhanced Power. Or and additional 10% vs Infantry instead of Ehanced Power (At close range, which is <8m for the Masterwork Pistol).

One-shots plague monks, berzerkers with a bodyshot using the above while in the cloud created by Disengage.

One-shots maulers with with a bodyshot using the above with an additional 10% vs chaos/infantry while in the cloud created by Disengage.

Throwing Axes ♻️

21% vs Skaven/Monsters will allow for a oneshot headshot on Packmasters.

5% vs Infantry/Chaos 5% will allow for a oneshot headshot on Leeches/Blightstormers and Globadiers.

18% vs Skaven/Armored to oneshot skaven weaponteams with a bodyshot.

Note: Slayers trophy hunter 10% increase is procced on the initial hit, meaning that Slayer always deals at least 10% more damage.

Trollhammer Torpedo 💥

One-shots chaos warriors on bodyshot using +10% Power vs Armoured, Spotter(10%) and Enhanced Power

Off-Balance is a very decent trait for Ironbreaker, as he already has a extra stamina shield by default. This allows him to block more enemies at will. Using Rune-Etched Sheild will allow you to build up even more damage while blocking, and luring more enemies towards you using your career skill works very well. Drenbarazi Oath can increase the blast damage even further when you have used your career skill.

On Outcast Engineer, Off-Balance is not a bad idea either, but not as optimal. You could also choose to use Parry as a last second defense option when out of stamina or when wanting to negate a powerful swing coming at you.

Using Barrage is another neat option, as the explosion and the impact of the torpedo count as two separate attacks. This means that when shooting and direct impacting a boss consecutively, you will instantly gain 1 stack of Barrage, then 3 stacks, and then 5 stacks. This will at the very least allow the explosion to always deal 5% more damage when direct hitting a target. This is more useful for Engineer as he has more ammo to spare (and spam), while he also is more likely be able to have time to hit multiple torpedoes before having to block attacks, due to his more ranged focused-playstyle and positioning with the team.

Steam-Assisted Crank Gun (Mk II) 🟣

Gromril plated shot can 2 shot stormvermin on bodyshot using 20% power vs armored/skaven and his native passive Spotter, which grants an additional 10% ranged power.

The same can be achieved with 10% power vs armored/skaven and enhanced power (and the innate Spotter perk).
Shade has an unlisted 5% increased crit-chance.

Handmaiden has an unlisted stamina point, which means she will always have half a shield extra on any weapon.

Dual Daggers ⚔️

One-shots Fanatics and Clanrats on light headshot and bleed using +20 Power vs Skaven/Infantry and Enhanced Power.

Dual Swords

One-shots Clanrats on headshot using Assassin, and five stacks of Exquisite Huntress

Elven Axe

Elven Spear

One-shots Clanrats on light headshot with Smiter.

Glaive

One-shots fanatics on light headshot or heavy bodyshot using +20% Power vs Chaos/Infantry

Greatsword

Spear and Shield

Sword

Sword and Dagger

One-shots Clanrats on headshot using Assassin, +20% Power vs Skaven/Infantry and six stacks of Exquisite Huntress

Deepwood Staff 🔥

Has no notable breakpoint, but can use Barrage for more damage output. Effective against most unarmoured targets.

Thermal Equalizer is generally good if you like using the weapons alternate fire and lift enemies up.

If you're using a more crit-focused build it is also possible to use Heat Sink on this staff, as a "crit-lift" will cost no heat at all.

Moonfire Bow

One-shots Assassins and Skaven Weapon Teams on heavy bodyshot and DoT using +30% Power vs Skaven/Armoured.

Briar Javelin ♻️

You need 40% Power vs Skaven and Armoured and Enhanced power to 1shot headshot Stormvermin, meaning this breakpoint is only really useful on ranged focus characters.
Shade could skip the Enhanced Power (or more?) when using Exquisite Huntress.

Serrated Shots on Waystalker (on top of the above power requirements) will allow you to one shot Skaven Weaponteams on bodyshot, with the DoT.

Handmaiden could use focused spirit to achieve the above, etc.

Hagbane Shortbow 🏹

Actual usecase for the ricochet talent for waystalker, arrows bounce on the ground at an enemys feet and explode - and then they impact the enemy and explode, allowing for double damage output per arrow.

Charge and spam arrows right at a monsters feet for maximum effect.

Longbow

Gutter Runner: Requires 26% power. Can be one-shot body-shot with a charged shot, at a near distance.

Poison Wind Globadiers and Chaos Sorcerers: Requires 5% power. Can be two-shot body-shot with a charged shot, at a near distance.

Longbow requires 20% vs skaven and enhanced power and it'll be able to two-shot stormvermin and all specials.

Can use 37% vs red-rats to one shot them in the head above 50m, defeating the damage drop off...
only really useful if you're running enhanced power. And it is ridiculous to go for this anyways, but doable!

Swiftbow

Volley Crossbow

Trueshot Volley 🟣

Using the Piercing Shot talent, requires 20% power vs Chaos/Armored and Enhanced Power. Can one-shot head-shot Chaos Warriors.
Witch Hunter Captain has a unlisted native 5% increase to his crit-chance, as well as a 25% bonus to headshot damage.

Axe ⚔️

Can one-shot Fanatics and Clanrats on headshots using Assassin.
Can two-shot Stormvermin headshots using Assassin and stacks of Blessed Combat.

Axe and Falchion

Bill Hook

It has a special attack, draining 1 stamina on hit and staggering an enemy fiercely. Will stagger a hookrat enough to have it instantly release any caught hero.

Falchion

Flail

Flail and Shield

Like all Shields, it requires 26% power vs Skaven/Berserkers to stagger Plague Monks out of their flurry attacks. Using the Prayer of Might talent alone is not sufficient. An additional 10% power or using Enhanced Power will do the trick. You can also skip using Prayer of Might and just use 20% power vs Skaven/Berserkers and Enhanced Power.

Using either 30% power vs Skaven/Berserker and Enhanced Power, or just 10% power and the talent Prayer of Might, allows the Flail and Shield to cancel the Monk's chain attacks using his default heavy attacks.

The description for the Rising Judgement talent is faulty, as it will only increases your damage instead of power, which means your stagger and cleave do not receive any buff from this talent. This means the talent is of no use when trying to reach any of the stagger breakpoints above.

Greatsword

Holy Great Hammer

One-shots Fanatcis and Clanrats with one heavy bodyshot using Smiter, Rising Judgement and +10% Power vs Skaven.

Paired Skull-Splitters

50% vs Skaven/Berserker and Opportunist staggers with simple light swings, canceling even Plague Monk flurry attacks.

Rapier

This works on WHC with his native 25% headshot bonus: Can two-shot chaos warriors on heavy headshots using +30% Power as long as one of the hits are a crit. This works on WHC with his native 25% headshot bonus.

Can one-shot Fanatics on headshots using +20% Power vs Chaos/Infantry and Assassin

Skull-Splitter and Blessed Tome

Two-shots Stormvermin with one light headshot and a fully charged headshot using Smiter, Rising Judgement and +10% Power vs Skaven.

Skull-Splitter and Shield

Skull-Splitter Hammer

Two-shots Stormvermin with 2 heavy headshots using Smiter, Rising Judgement and +10% Power vs Skaven.

Brace of Pistols 🏹

Can Two-shot Leeches and Blightstormers, Packmasters and Skaven Weapon Teams with bodyshots using +30% power vs Skaven/Infantry, Weight of Fire and stacks of Blessed Combat.

Can one-shot Assassins with a bodyshot using +30% Power vs Skaven/Infantry.
Or 10% skaven and WHC ping passive.

Can One-shot Leeches and Blightstormers and Poison Wind Globadiers with a Blessed Shot using +30% power vs Skaven /Infantry Weight of Fire and stacks of Blessed Combat.

Crossbow

One-shots Assassins with one bodyshot with 10% Power vs Skaven or Enhanced Power.

One-shots Skaven weapon teams and Packmasters with one bodyshot with 30% Power vs Skaven/Monsters and marked with Witch-Hunt.

One-shots Skaven Weapon Teams on bodyshot with +20% Power vs Skaven/Armoured and a stack of Blessed Combat.

One-shots on crit Stormvermin, and all specials on bodyshot by default.

With +20% Power vs Chaos/Infantry and Open Wounds, you can one-shot Maulers.
This is also achievable with +20% Power vs Chaos/Infantry, a stack of Blessed Combat and Enhanced Power.

One-shots Assassins, Skaven Weapon Teams, Poison Wind Globadiers and Packmasters on bodyshot with 40% Power vs Skaven/Infantry and 6 stacks of Fiery Faith.

Griffonfoot Pistols

Repeater Pistol

Open Wounds and Enhanced Power, using Hunter and 40% crit power along with 20% power vs Chaos/Armoured will allow for the Repeater Pistol to 1-shot headshot Chaos Warriors if you manage to land all 8 bullets in the head with a crit. The talent Prize Bounty is useful when using the weapon in this manner.

Volley Crossbow

Locked and Loaded 🟣

Crowbill ⚔️

Dagger

Ensorcelled Reaper

Fire Sword

Flaming Flail

Mace

Sword

Beam Staff 🔥

Barrage is very good for this weapon, as it naturally already ramps up its damage when beaming a target over time. Throw on some extra monster damage along with Famished Flames on Battle Wizard and holding primary fire on a boss will whittle its health down rapidly.

Bolt Staff

One-shots all elites and specials apart from Chaos Warriors and Wargores on fullycharged bodyshots using 40% Power vs Chaos/Infantry, Enhanced Power and Volcanic Force.
Two-shots chaos warriors on fully charged headshots using Volcanic Force.

One-shots Blightstormers, Leeches and Poison Wind Globadiers on fully charged bodyshots using 30% Power vs Chaos/Infantry/Skaven.

Conflagration Staff

Kills most basic infantry with as single AoE attack using 40% Power vs Chaos/Infantry and Enhanced Power.

One Shots Marauders on crit, using a fully charged secondary fire with +40%Power vs Chaos/Infantry and Enhanced Power.

Coruscation Staff

The fire geysers that this staff summons do not get buffed by any talents that directly increase your characters power, and as such Enhanced Power is not useful on this staff. For some reason the geysers are seen as their own entities in this regard, dealing damage on their own, regardless of Sienna.

Talents that affect spells directly do work on this staff, however, making Famished Flames on Battle Wizard a great choice, essentially doubling the Geysers DoT output.

Fireball Staff

One-shots Fanatics and Clanrats with one light bodyshot using 30% Power vs Skaven/Infantry and Enhanced Power..

One-shots Packmasters with one fully charged fireball and DOT, using 15% power vs packmasters.

Flamestorm Staff

Soulstealer Staff

One Shots all specials using Enhanced Power and +10% Power vs Infantry at any range with Secondary attack.

Two-Shots Berserkers, Plague Monks and Maulers using primary attack and then secondary attack.

The Burning Head 🟣

Bomb 💣

Is affected by Dawi-Drop as long as it impacts while the dwarf is airborne! Not a specific breakpoint per se, yet massive when thrown into a Chaos Patrol, especially when pulled off using the Explosive Ordinance trait on your trinket.

Incendiary Bomb

Affected by Famished Flames on Battlewizard. Always useful.
Also affected by Lingering Flames on Battlewizard, and likewise always useful.

Incendiary Bombs are also in most cases the recommended bomb to recycle when using the Rangers Parting Gift talent on Ranger Veteran.

Very Useful Guides

Pretty much all credit for the compilation above goes to these guides and their makers, about 90% of the useful breakpoints you could think of have already been incorporated into builds listed in the guides below. This guide is in part a compendium of these breakpoints, freed from the builds themselves.
