Deed / Keep Method

Why Deeds? Because they have the best rewards. There are a couple that grant 2 Emperor's Chests on completion - the best chest reward in the game, and it would be nice if you could use it more than once, right?

This lets us use a Deed, on any map and difficulty; (despite the Deed's requirements), and "keep" it - as they usually expire after a single use. Effectively you could use a Cataclysm Deed on Recruit and still get the Cata-chest rewards.

Pre-amble:
This method utilises the fact that the deed is only consumed by the Host, so if you're not the Host, and you use a Deed in this manner, you keep the Deed as a guest. on comms makes this easier;
  • So, as the Deed holder, you need to join someone else's lobby.
  • Select the Deed, "Play".
  • Re-enter the map/Custom Game menu from the map next to Lohner before anyone accepts the Deed
  • Everyone now needs to Accept;
  • You now pick your custom map/difficulty modifier
  • Everyone else will be presented with another "Accept" menu, which they must oblige.

You can check this worked in the TAB menu, it should show the target map, difficulty, and the chest/deed rewards.

You should be able to load in, and assuming the win - collect your hardly-earned rewards.
