How To Fall Asleep While Driving In Truck Sim
Why you'd want to fall alseep
This game has a large player-base of real life truckers and retirees who play this game after trucking or relaxing, to relax or work with virtual trucking, and also has a mix of real life gamers being introduced into the world of transportation with the game's seemingly virtual cutting edge trucking. But we've all seen or know that someone, or are that somebody, who has wheels and pedals, dual monitors/VR or even a full driving set, to capture the most of the experience, But there is a missing piece to the puzzle. Sleeping.
Why would you want to all fall asleep in truck simulator to make the most of your authentic and immersive virtual world?.
1. Realism. Real life shows this happens. with real consequences
2. Tactical Sleeping. Truck drivers in real life use this method of sleeping called, "Blink Travel" to effectively sleep(sleep, which restores your bodily functions, seeing, breathing, ect.) and to also speed up time. We all know that sleeping is like time traveling, if you sleep while someone is driving you skip the drive. That works while driving even sometimes.
3. It feels good. It feels good to just be you, and you are tired!.
How to fall alseep
- Stay Awake.
If you just slaped, you don't need to sleep anymore, just as in real life. The truckers who work long shifts during the day and at night during the day are the best sleepers, they are already awake for over 12 hours. This is recommend when driving.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Get warm.
Real trucks have hot air conditioning(Hot A/C). Which studies show being hot will help you get laid (to sleep I assume). So if you want to fall asleep, crank up that fire pit or whatever unit of warmth ability in your house to make you feel warm.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- NO COFFEE/ENGRY DRINKS.
Drinking and driving it's prohibited. If you really think this doesn't work in the gaming world, well guess what stupid, your still not sleeping in real life, cause you drank real life coffee. Do you want to actually do this, or are you just ignorant? (I'm saying that for the players who drank coffee)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Keep one eye closed.
I don't know how, but this should work. If you have one eye closed you should have a 50% chance of sleeping, and the other eye can keep an eye on the woad. I haven't seen with both my eyes closed. This is natural training, to get used to having an eye closed while driving, getting comfortable try switching up the eye.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Keep both eyes closed.
THERE'S YOUR CHANCE, don't miss the moment, when your tired, your body knows what best for you, "Quick fall asleep". You can't fall asleep without pretending to fall asleep, So when on a straight away, straight away, go to bed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Don't be a statistic.
But this is now where it gets tricky, you just need to tactically sleep and use "Blink Travel", open your eyes when a turn is coming, don't pass, and wake up when you hear the rumble stripe, once it is all assessed and controlled, resume sleep, and your tiredness should lead the way, and you'll be a safe sleeper.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Drink Alcohol
Its a favorite drink among real life truckers, and you can do it in the gaming world! it's been drank for centuries due to its delectables and attributes. And it has carried over the years even into the current era into "techno-trucking".
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sleep is essential to everyday life and everyday we live we sleep at night. The same works for the world of driving, when it comes to real life or its virtual counterpart, both require the need to sleep.
Not everyone can sleep while driving, cause not every one tries good enough.
So don't be ashamed if your friend falls asleep while driving in a convoy and you don't, just be proud you care to truck. And at the end of the day (night), we're all gonna sleep anyways, enjoy your bed as much as your friend did enjoy the truck seat.
