Killing Midgar Zolom early

I was ploughing through the game fairly quickly as I want to get to the later parts so I can do some of the grinding I never did playing through years ago, so the HP you see in the screenshot (screenshot of just after I killed the Midgar Zolom, I was too slow jumping from the couch to hit print screen so you don't see it dying in the image) is where I was after fighting Dyne and getting Barrett back in the party.

I basically hovercraft my way across to the Midgar Zolom acquiring the Enemy Skills Aqualung, White Wind and Big Guard (google how or use the steam guides on enemy skills), I had Cover Materia on RedX, Aeris was my cure all, Cloud had Enemy Skill, I have no level 3 Materia as yet so I was casting level 2 Ice and Bolt on Middgy, I used every summon I had at the time also, I can't remember how many this was as I did this a few hours ago, I think I would have had Choco/Mog, Shivas, Ifrit and probably Ramuh.

Anyhow, cast Enemy Skill Big Guard straight up and keep your HP up on every one as priority, everyone else casts Summons or Level 2 spells at Middgy, he will kick someone (kicked RedX for me on the second turn I think), you can heal with enemy skill White Wind or Cure with an All so either character can die and still have last minute save heals. Red and Aeris were ordered in the back.

This isn't much of a guide I realise but give it a whirl and see how you go. I wanted to share before bed.
