Ranking the top Necklace traits
1. Natural Bond
2. Hand of Shallya
3. Boon of Shallya
- Doesn't conflict with Natural Bond while boosting all Healing sources
- The excess healing it generates can be traded for damage to reduce your career skill's cooldown
- The extra healing in combat could save your life, assuming your THP talent can generate THP in that situation or there are other healing sources
- Not as good as Hand of Shallya, especially if there are Natty B players since you can take the extra healing items from them because only teammates can heal their HP
4. Barkskin
- Planning for failure
- You get 100% resistance to avoidable damage by playing smarter
- Need to get hit two or more times for it to have an effect (why do you want that?)
- Only good for Gunner Rat, Flame Rat, and maybe Gas/Monster if you get trapped or don't block/dodge. At that point, just get better at the game.
- Only ever worth considering on dumb bots, but it won't stop the inevitable overhead that they eat.
5. Healer's Touch
- 1 in 4 chance is not good, you either got lucky on the first one of two healing items, or something went wrong if you proc'd this.
- One could reframe this to factor in how many healing items you use in a game and adjust the percentages accordingly. Ex: if you use 2 healing items on average, you have a 50% chance to get a free healing item (or this trait does nothing for the entire game).
- Only decent on Ranger Veteran, but again, why do you need so many healing items? Just use Natural Bond and get better at avoiding damage.
