Ruby Weapon Strategy.
Introduction.
Requirements.
As you may imagine, for a strategy that helps you beat Ruby Weapon, the hardest task in the game, nearly 100% of the time, there are some pretty steep requirements.
So, without further ado, here is the list of requirements:
-All characters at level 99, with 9999 HP and at least 500 MP.
-W summon Materia
-3 Mime materias
-Phoenix Materia (Preferably mastered.)
-Hades Materia mastered
-Knights of the round at least level 4 (Preferably mastered, you'll see why if you break the miming streak.)
The above items are ALL required for this strategy, HOWEVER, there are a few helpful, but not necessary things you may want.
-Cloud equipped with Apocalypse, for obvious reasons. (50,000 AP x3 = 150,000 AP. 'Nuff said.)
-Final Attack Paired with Phoenix / Life2 (Revive upon death.)
-Cid with Scimitar (Same as Cloud)
And that's that.
Strategy.
Now for the strategy.
To start off, you're going to need to have all but one of your characters dead, MAKE SURE that the one that's remaining has Phoenix Materia equiped. Wait until Ruby weapon puts his Tentacles into the ground. Start off by W-summoning Hades on Ruby, followed by Phoenix on Ruby. What this will do is Paralyze Ruby (The only status ailment Ruby isn't immune to, if you were wondering.), and revive both of your teammates. From here, have the same person you used to revive your other teamates use Hades on Ruby's tentacles, followed by KoTR on ruby. Afterwards, just W-Summon KoTR twice on Ruby, and have the other's mime it. If Ruby becomes un-paralyzed, simply use Hades again or throw a Dazer at him.
You should finish him off in no time!

Now for the credits.
Valve: For giving us an easier way to play this classic. We all know that at one point or another, we were out Scouring Garage sales and Flea Markets trying to find a PSX copy of this game. Valve has fixed that.
Black Chocobo: I know what you're all thinking: "CHEATER!", and I'm okay with that. It's not easy to get all the necessary items / Materia to do this strategy, but with Black Chocobo, it's a matter of a few seconds. Keep in mind that this method's effectiveness is not determined by the means of acquiring the necessary components, it just saves time. I still developed this strategy before modding with Black Chocobo, just thought I'd give them some props.
And last of all, You. The reader. Without you guys, this guide was a pointless waste of time for me. I appreciate you reading.
Happy Achievement earning!
