1. Introduction

Warlords have the potential of being the best builds in this game. This very build combines all the defense you usually see in tanks with all that sweet dps you would normally just see in casters.

2. Gear + Grimtools Link

GRIMTOOLS: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/dVbPeXON
GRIMTOOLS v2: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/O2GLwbkV
These are variations of the best setups you could get. I just created these two setups with stuff I had, bet some of you could do even better (Stonehide Stoneplate Greaves of Kings etc...).
This way you can have 3000OA (even more with Fighting Spirit or Ascension activated) 3000DA + almost 4000 Armor + 20k health.
Shoes dont matter much, just get some good resistances on them. Girdle can be swapped out too, but the Aleksander chausses are kinda mandatory for good performance.

Anyway I tried to make a build without greens, its slightly worse, but much easier to build.
I managed to get the build over 3100 DA + 3000 OA, but lost quite a bit of armor, health, dps and stun res. One very positive thing though is the capped Slow Resistance (or even overcapped).

3. How to level up and distribution of points

Skill Points:
Forcewave and its Transmuter (Tremor) is great for early game levelling, so you would want to max out this skill soon. Further, its important to pick up the skills Blitz + Vire's Might (1 point each) for faster movement. Also make sure to put one point into Menhir's Will, its a rather important circuit breaker and can save you during boss fights. Then just continue picking up the passives (Field Command and Presence of Virtue) + Judgement and level these skills equally as you progress through your mastery bar.

Attribute Points:
As many points as necessary in Spirit, for the BiS build that would be 10 points and for the non-MI build you don't need to put anything in Spirit.
The rest of the points I distributed in Cunning and Physique so I get Defensive Ability (DA) and Offensive Ability (OA) to 3000 each (Cunning for more OA and Physique for more DA). Generally, you want to put more points in Physique, but that is not really necessary here, because this build already provides a lot of Physique.

Devotion Points:

Crossroad Blue (+)
Lizard

Crossroad Purple (+)

4. Skills and how to play with this build

Offensive Skills: Forcewave, Judgement
Defensive Skills: Resilience, Menhir's Will
Debuffs: War Cry, Celestial Presence
Movement Skills: Blitz, Vire's Might + Rune Augment

How to play?
Its quite simple, before you start playing you want to summon two Guardians of Empyrion and then just charge into mobs with either Blitz or Virtue's Might, debuff with War Cry go for one Judgement cast and then spam Forcewave till the next Judgment is ready.
You should be able to face tank most bosses, just be careful when Menhir's Will and Resilience is on cooldown.

5. The End

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed my guide.

If you're having as much fun in this game as I do make sure to rate this guide and add to your favorites, this would mean really much to me :)

Anyway, if you have any improvements, ideas, suggestions, etc...
let me know in the comments.

6. Important Stuff for new players

  1. Get your resistances up
  2. Use components while leveling
  3. Armor absorption should be as high as possible (100%)
  4. Survivability >>> DPS (always!)
  5. Focus on only one or two damage types

The order of events for Conversion is as follows: Base Skill > Skill Modifiers > Conversion on the Skill or Transmuter > Conversion on Equipment and Buffs > Equipment, Auras and Passives

There's a lot more to it, but I'm sure you will figure it out :)
