1. Basics

Firstly, we need to download and install either GDDefiler[forums.crateentertainment.com] (preferable in this case) or GDStash[forums.crateentertainment.com].

Next step is to disable Steam Cloud Sync with Grim Dawn. To do so we head to
Library=> RMB on Grim Dawn=> Properties=> Updates=> Uncheck "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Grim Dawn"

2. Copying Character

Turn on game, make new character and quit. Now head to
[Disc with Steam installed on]:\Steam\userdata\[Your unique numbers]\219990\remote\save\main and copy folder (name of folder will be " _[Your Character Name]") of character You want to be copied.

After You did this go for C:\Users\[Your Username]\Documents\My games\Grim Dawn\save\main and paste Your folder here.

It's time to use GDDefiler, turn it on, click on Your character name, and change it to character name You created in game. Save it and quit. Now, copy files from folder in C:\Users\[Your Username]\Documents\My games\Grim Dawn\save\main, that You updated few seconds ago. Paste them in new characters folder in [Disc with Steam installed on]:\Steam\userdata\[Your unique numbers]\219990\remote\save\main\[Your new character name].

Your character should be copied now!
