1. When you start campaign, your advisor will advise you about your first priorities are rebuild Warsaw Pact's territory strength to Level 3 and attack Middle East for your global strategy.

2. Victory Conditions for Soviets are 1) destroy the Americans or 2) Increase your total industry income to 50 Tribute higher than that of the Americans.

Note : 60 Tribute = Finland ( 20 Tribute ) + West Central Europe ( 20 Tribute ) + Balkans ( 20 Tribute )

4. You use 20 Tribute to launch an espionage mission.

5. Because Middle East has 100 Tribute that enough for rebuild Warsaw Pact's territory strength to Level 3, so you should begin your World revolution by attack here.





I recommend you to build 2 Radar Air Defenses at your Redoubt to stop Arabs air force attack your unit.

1. After you occupy Middle East, you already cut the Americans off from South Asia.

Note : 90 Tribute = Finland ( 30 Tribute ) + West Central Europe ( 30 Tribute ) + Balkans ( 30 Tribute )

Now you don't have to worry about Warsaw Pact anymore and you can fully focus on your World revolution.

As a result of this espionage mission, Southern Africa becomes Soviets client state.

Finally Soviets has establish a foothold in Africa Continent.

5. After that you are ready to attack South Korea.







Because your troop and military buildings were far from border ( between North Korea and South Korea ), so I recommend you to send The Comrade and your army to attack Seoul and capture it asap. Meanwhile, you should build new unit and send to reinforce in Seoul continuously.

Comrade will help you assimilate Seoul faster, so you can quickly use Seoul as a base of operation to capture all remaining cities from South Koreans.

After you assimilate Seoul, you should build 2 Radar Air Defenses and military buildings to defend counterattack from South Koreans and Americans.





After you fight your enemy in this battle 8 minutes, Chinese will offer their non-aggression treaty to you.

Their offer is simple : Chinese will help you in this battle but you can't attack them until you reach Information Age.

And your answer is ... No. Thus Chinese army was withdrawn from this battle. But you don't have to worry about it because your army ( with some help from North Koreans army ) are strong enough to win this this battle.

1. After you occupy South Korea, you already cut the Americans off from ( Mainland ) East Asia.

I recommend you to use your Submarine wipe out all Americans warships to clear path for your Spy and Special Forces.

At Americans's northernmost Shipyard, your unit will face Americans's Marine Infantry and Tank. Order your Spy to bribe them and neutralize this threat.

4. You use 202 Tribute to make Mongolia and North Africa become Soviets client state.

Note : 202 Tribute = Mongolia ( 101 Tribute ) and North Africa ( 101 Tribute )

5. Because China has territory strength Level 8 , 50 Tribute and a good location that support you to expand your influence, so occupy China is inevitable.







After you capture Xi'an, you will take control Terra Cotta Army.

Terra Cotta Army will produce Red Guards Infantry to you until you reach your Population Limit.

But Chinese will send Conventional Missiles and their air force to destroy Terra Cotta Army at all cost, so you should assign your citizens to build 2 - 4 Radar Air Defenses near Terra Cotta Army and always repair Terra Cotta Army too.



Chinese will have their redoubt at north of the map so I recommend you to raze Chinese's redoubt to clear path for your reinforcement.

1. After you occupy China, North Korea will send diplomat to discuss diplomatic relation with you.

Choose accept and use 25 Tribute to make North Korea becomes Soviets client state.

I recommend you to place your Special Forces in these positions for protect your important buildings.

1. After you occupy Southeast Asia, Cuba would like to hold a summit meeting with you.

I recommend you to order your spy to infiltrate every Americans cities, bribe every Americans units that you find and send them to destroy Americans's Missile Silos.

If your unit was attack by another Americans unit, bring them to safe place and use your supply wagon to heal them. Meanwhile you order your Spy to bribe those enemy and neutralize this threat.











Americans will shock if they know their superior number in nuclear arms race was gone. It's all square now.

Your spy make a good job of destroy 2 Americans Nuclear Missiles in Pacific Rockies and Midwest.

3. You also acquire Wonder of the World card and Treachery card from final espionage mission.

Unfortunately you can't build any Wonder in Modern Age. You must reach Information Age to build any Wonder such as Super Collider or Space Program.

I recommend you to build 2 - 4 Radar Air Defenses at your every cities to stop Americans air force attack your unit and military buildings.

I recommend you to use your navy and Attack Helicopter wipe out all Americans warships to clear path for your army land on New York and defend counterattack from Americans.

After you capture New York, you will take control Statue of Liberty.

But Americans will send Conventional Missiles and their air force to destroy Statue of Liberty at all cost, so you should assign your citizens to build 2 - 4 Radar Air Defenses near Statue of Liberty and always repair Statue of Liberty too.

I recommend you to use Advanced Fighter to guard Statue of Liberty and destroy all Americans warplanes that try to attack Statue of Liberty. Meanwhile you should use your Stealth Bomber to air raid and destroy all Americans's Missile Silo too.

Extra - 1

Attack NATO before eliminate the Americans route

1) Use Sabotage card and Treachery card in Gulf Coast.

You'll control Citrus Rare Resource and receive 30 Tribute.



2) Overrun Italy , Scandinavia and Greece respectively. You'll receive new army, place your new army in Eastern Russia.

You'll control Wine ( from Italy ) and Olive Oil ( from Greece ) Rare Resource and receive 35 Tribute ( from Scandinavia ). You also cut the Americans off from Fish Rare Resource.





3) Attack Americans at Mid-Atlantic. You'll begin Operation Potomac with 7 rare resources ( compare with only 5 rare resources in " No attack NATO " route )

You eliminate Americans , liberate NATO and Japan from Americans's global influence and finish The Cold War campaign as Soviets in only 6 turns.





It is a great achievement for Red Army that successfully capture and protect Washington Monument and Statue of Liberty from Americans.





I think I finish The Cold War campaign as Soviets in 6 turns, not 5 turns.

12 Battles/Victories are solid evidence of this.
