How to win The New World campaign 100% within Gunpowder Age

I choose Portuguese because I want another nation capture many territories and I will eliminate them later.

Portuguese also have good location because they locate far from other nation and they don't have conflict with other nation so I can do with my plan without interfere from another nation.

If you want to win The New World campaign 100% within Gunpowder Age as Portuguese, you need to do under these conditions;

1. Spanish must eliminate at least 2 nations from Maya , Aztecs or Inca group. Because you have to deal with 10 nations in this campaign with only 9 turns and you can't eliminate any nation at your first turn.

2. You must avoid achieve Victory Condition for European nations ( European Victory ).

Because you play as Portuguese, you are limited to a maximum population of 125 in Gunpowder Age.

Therefore you must balance about number of citizens and armed forces.

If you want to rule The New World, you need more than one army to do it.

So it begin with capture supply center at Brazil.





You march your army to middle of the map and eliminate every enemy unit along the way.

You must protect your bombard units at all cost.

1. After you capture Brazil, you'll have new army and it was placed in Central Basin.

2. Pick army in Brazil to attack Amazon, so you'll overrun and occupy Amazon.

3. You must negotiate with Dutch to buy Venezuela from them.

You'll have new army and you place your new army in Venezuela.

4. After that you are ready to finish off Dutch.





I recommend you to research Enlightenment Age quickly and upgrade your army, then you bring your army attack Corriverton.

1. After you eliminate Dutch, pick army in Central Basin to attack Bolivia, so you'll overrun and occupy Bolivia.

2. After that you are ready to deal with Inca.





I recommend you order all of your army march to south and capture Pisac and Cuzco swiftly.

After that it's time to march your army to capture remaining Inca cities and win this battle.

1. After you eliminate Inca, pick army in Peru to attack Chile, so you'll overrun and occupy Chile.

You'll receive new army and you place your new army in Guyana.

I recommend you to attack Americans Capital asap.

2. Pick army in Chile to attack Argentina, so you'll overrun and occupy Argentina.

After you occupy Argentina, you'll unite South America so you will receive 100 Tribute.

You should build woodcutter's camp at every city too.

1. After you eliminate Lakota, you'll unite South America so you will receive 100 Tribute.

2. You must negotiate with Spanish to buy California , Florida and New Mexico from them.

You'll have new army and you place your new army in California.

4. You overrun New Granada. You must negotiate with Spanish to buy Yucatan from them.

5. After that you are ready to finish off Spanish.





I recommend you to combine your initial army and reinforcements from Venezuela to attack and capture Antigua Guatemala.

1. After you eliminate Spanish, you'll unite South America so you will receive 100 Tribute.

You'll receive new army and you place your new army in Greenland.

2. Pick army in Oregon Territory to attack Yukon Territory, so you'll overrun and occupy Yukon Territory.

I recommend you to combine your initial army and reinforcements from Nunavut to attack and capture Montreal.

1. After you eliminate British, you must negotiate with Iroquois to buy New England from them.

You also successfully avoid achieve Victory Condition for European nations ( European Victory ).

I recommend you to bring your army attack Toronto asap.

After you fight your enemy in this battle 3 and 6 minutes, reinforcements from Quebec and Indiana Territory will appear in the map respectively.

Guide reinforcements from Quebec to protect Toronto, meanwhile guide reinforcements from Indiana Territory to attack and capture Thiohero.
