Fastest way to win The New World campaign

In normal situation, you will finish The New World campaign when you eliminate or make ally with every nations.

If you want to finish this campaign faster, you must win under 3 Victory Conditions.



3 Victory Conditions consist of;

1. Victory Condition for Americans ( American Victory )
- You play as Americans
- You must declare independence from British by declare war on British.
- You must eliminate every nations except Inca and you must capture all territory in North America.

In my opinion : This is longest route in 3 Victory Conditions and nearly long like normal situation, so you shouldn't choose this route if you want fastest win.

2. Victory Condition for European nations ( European Victory )
- You play as Dutch , British , French , Spanish or Portuguese.
- You must eliminate every Native American Nations ( Maya , Aztecs , Lakota , Iroquois and Inca ).
- You must have more territory than any other European nation or Americans.
- You must collect 1,000 Tribute.

In my opinion : Hardest thing to achieve European Victory is collect 1,000 Tribute. I try to play as Spanish that already declared war on Maya , Aztecs and Inca at start of campaign, so I will save 60+ Tribute from this condition. But I found it impossible to collect 1,000 Tribute after I eliminate all Native American Nations in 5 turns. So you shouldn't choose this route if you want fastest win.

3. Victory Condition for Native American Nations ( Native Victory )
- You play as Maya , Aztecs , Lakota , Iroquois or Inca.
- You must eliminate every European nations ( Dutch , British , French , Spanish and Portuguese) and Americans.
- You must have more territory than any other Native American Nation.

In my opinion : This is perfect route for fastest win. You can finish The New World Campaign in 6 turns if you plan correctly.



I choose Maya because I can eliminate 2 European nations in 2 turns ( Another Native American Nation that can do same thing is Lakota ) and I want to make sure that I will deal all European nations with my hand.

Note : Because Spanish already declared war on Maya , Aztecs and Inca at start of campaign, so they will destroy each other until their opponent is/are eliminate.

You are ready to deal with your archenemy, Spanish.





I recommend you to build city in every island to encircle Spanish. If you build city fast enough, you can build city or fort at north of main island.

Spanish has a large army and it won't easy to defeat them even though you have a big army. So you should use your spy bribe Spanish units to weaken their strength.

After you eliminate Spanish, you are ready to deal with French.









I recommend you to bring your army cross sea and attack French Capital asap.

1. After you eliminate French, you must negotiate with British to buy Greenland from them.

2. Because you lost an army that was unable to retreat. A replacement army has been recruited, so place your new army in Greenland.

Now you are ready to deal with British.









I recommend you to build fort between Montreal and Trois-Rivieres or between Trois-Rivieres and Quebec to cut off British.

1. After you eliminate British, you must negotiate with Dutch to buy Central America , New Granada and Venezuela from them.

2. You'll receive 3 new armies. one of them is replacement army.

Place your new army in New Granada , Venezuela and Cuba.

3. Pick army in Cuba and New Granada to attack West Indies and Amazon, so you'll overrun and occupy West Indies and Amazon respectively.

4. After that you are ready to finish off Dutch.





I recommend you to build many forts at in front of every Dutch city to cut off Dutch. If you build fort fast enough, you can pin Dutch and stop them build new city.

1. After you eliminate Dutch, you must negotiate with Portuguese to buy Argentina from them.

Because Portuguese has army in Argentina, so I will buy Argentina to prevent Portuguese has reinforcement from Argentina in this battle.

2. Because I lost West Indies that has Rare Resource ( Rum ) in previous deal, so I decide to buy West Indies back from Portuguese.

3. After that you are ready to finish off Portuguese.





You will fight against Portuguese and French in this battle.

I recommend you to attack French asap because French don't have any army so you can beat them easily.

1. After you eliminate Portuguese, pick army in Central Basin to attack Brazil so you'll overrun and occupy Brazil.

You'll receive new army and you place your new army in Texas.

2. You must negotiate with Americans to buy Carolina , Florida and Indiana Territory from them.

You'll receive 2 new armies.

Place your new army in Carolina and Indiana Territory.

3. ( Optional ) Upgrade territory strength for Yucatan.

4. Now you are ready to finish this campaign.





I recommend you to attack Americans Capital asap.

You eliminate every European nations and Americans to achieve Native Victory and finish The New World campaign in only 6 turns.
