Guide to the "best" Jason: Part 8

Now, there is a reason why many say Pt. 8 is the best Jason to utilize for games. Let's see what we're working with.

Pros:

Water Speed
This can be extremely useful for tracking down an escaping boat. However, in most situations this is the least useful upside.

Destruction
This is very useful in almost all situations when chasing down a counselor, destruction can break down doors faster (2 hits unlocked, 1 locked restroom doors etc, 3 hits for boarded / cabin doors)
Best thing about this Jason most likely. (Tip: press C to use combat stance for doors, it's much quicker than using the animation)

Stalk
Better for stalking counselors. Personally, this isn't my thing and I tend to play faster, this stat just means you'll have a longer duration, which for people who like to utilize stalk is a good thing.

Cons:

Sense
This can be bad in some situations, especially stealthier classes (AJ, Tiffany, etc). But usually in my case, I can find them just as fine. Game sense, people

Can't Run
Same downside as parts six-through-seven and also Savini, best thing to combat this is utilizing morph and your knives. Be sure to grab these when playing these Jason's and use them wisely.

Grip Strength

The least noticeable downside in my opinion, not too much of a difference with or without it. Although classes with higher composure such as Adam, Mitch, etc. will have an easier time breaking free from your grasp.

Part 8 has great upsides to the point where his downsides aren't too noticeable. But like most Jason's, he still takes skill. Pt. 8 good for getting to counselors in cabins and out in the open if you utilize your morph, which doesn't have a downside. But like all of the "Can't Run" Jason's, you will have a hard time catching them if your morph is recharging (or if they just play smart). Utilize your throwing knives for this.

Another thing to note: You could still be bad at this Jason, it all comes down to skill and personal preference. I think that this is the most effective Jason under Savini.
