How to Properly Play Jason Part VII

As many of you may know. Part 7 Jason is referred to quite oftenly as the worst jason of the bunch. Mainly because he has

- Traps
- Shift
- Can't run

Although it may be Crippling to the inexperienced player his + stats are quite usefull.

+ Grip Strength
+ Water Speed
+ Sense

In my own opinion Jason Part 7 is fairly balanced. he has the right + Attributes to fill key areas when in the action game.

+Sense. It can come in handy against high stealth characters (even with stealth perks) you can keep refreshing your sense until you find that pesky A.J hiding under a bed.

+ Water Speed. This is EXTREMELY usefull when hunting down an escaping boat. It is also more usefull when playing on the new Jarvis map since there are many water ways you can traverse around.

+ Grip Strength. This is usefull if you only want to do enviromental kills. Tommy Jarvis or any other high composure counselor can still break free from the grab quite easily.

- Traps. for some this may be crippling if you are used to playing a jason with more than 3 traps. however 3 traps is more than enough. how you ask? well the way i play is that i only put 1 trap on the phone box and save the other 2 for later (i don't trap the car since it is easy to stop if you know what you are doing).

- Shift. Ok shift regen speed is pretty slow and at times i would be yelling at my screen for it to regen faster before the car escapes my clutches. Only use shift unless you are Absolutely sure you can secure a kill or if you are able to stop the car. These can all be alleviated once you get Rage.

- Can't Run. This isn't really usefull since most counselors can still out run a + Can run jason anyway.

Now that we've gotten the Stats out of the way you can see Part 7 is a pretty balanced Jason (if used properly) I've made this guide so that people can understand he isn't complete "Trash" as some would put it. And also to help people understand that you should never Underestimate a Part 7 Jason.

I just Really hate that people keep saying he is a "Trash" Jason. it all comes down to how you play him. and in my Opinion he is the only Jason that actually Requires skill.

Ok here i will discuss how to Play as Part 7 Jason as efficiently as possible.

• First we shall start off in the Shack. You will spawn here first as many of you know and there will be 2 Throwing Knifes on the wall of your Shack. Pick them up.

• Secoundly you will want to Morph to the Phone box Straight Away! forget about the car and everything else! you will want to deny an early escape to the cops so you must always trap the Phone box first!

  Make sure to smash up all the windows of the Phone house. (if you are playing on packanack and the Phone box spawned at the lodge just forget about smashing the windows and just follow my next step). If there are counselors that have spawned in the Phone house and have locked the door, This is good! simply hit the entry doors 5 times and 5 times only! so that you will only have to hit them Once when you come back later.

  Why do i do this you may ask? well if counselors come back to search the Phone house the doors would be locked and they'd be forced to go through the smashed windows. if you had continued smashing the doors down they could've went into the phone house unscathed.

  We also want to hit the doors 5 times for a quick access in times of emergency if the cops are about to be called.

• Thirdly. Once you have finished doing your job at the Phone House, Go around the map smashing the power generators. we are doing this because this will help you track down counselors with your + Sense attribute and you will be better able to track them. If you can't sense any counselors because they are not close enough to you, you can always Morph to them from the direction of their sound pings (this is something i do quite often and i most of the time secure a kill because a counselor made too much noise). Simply Look in the direction the noise is coming from. open your map and see if there are any building in that general direction. and you might just end up finding them.

• Mid Game. You would have reached mid game once you have unlocked the Stalk Ability. Stalk will be one of your most powerfull weapons when playing Jason Part 7. you must use the element of Surprise to Subdue those who ought to destroy you. Using Stalk Plus Shift is also extremely usefull as counselors wouldn't know you are nearby to begin with.

• Nearing End game. You must use all your power to stop the remaining couselors (this will usually be high stealth counselors), you will have Rage by now and you must keep the pressure on them. Use any and all throwing knifes you have and don't be afraid to grab counselors. Make sure to use Quick Kills if you intend on grabbing them. I prefer to use Headpunch as it is the fastest and most efficient grab kill out there. you may use your "Signature" kills on the last counselor if you wish.

Using Throwing Knifes

• Throwing Knifes. These are an Invaluable tool and must be picked up whenever you can find them. if it is difficult to find any sense can reveal them for you.

• Dealing with Window Hoppers. If you don't know what a window hopper is this is someone that will constantly go in and out of windows to annoy the heck out of you. there is a way to deal with this.

  If you and the counselor is outside and say the counselor is crippled already. the counselor tries to go through a window to escape you. once you are close enough just simply chuck a Throwing knife at them and it will cancel their window animation. You can then grab them and do with them as you please.

  However against a counselor that in not crippled this will still work but if the 1st knife doesn't cripple them they can just dive through the window. you can prevent Window diving with a throwing knife but it is much harder than a counselor vaulting over a window.

• Camping a House. This works usually best with small houses that have 2 windows and 1 Entry Door. you can simply wait outside a window for a counselor/s to climb out. Beware! make sure you are not to close to a window or the counselor might see you. also do not stand too close to a wall as your machete can clip through the wall and a counselor may see it!

• Morph Ambush. This will work if you can pinpoint where a counselor is on the map by going off their sound pings. this can also work if a counselor screws up a repair minigame and you can come for them silently whilst in stalk. However do not morph right on top of a counselor as it will give away your element of surprise! instead morph slightly away from your chosen destination or if they are near water simply morph into the water to disguise yourself.

• Shift Ambush. This is especially usefull if you want to get that annoying vanessa that sprints everytime she sees you! Simply shift+grab whilst in stalk and you would've secured an easy kill to your name. however counselors will still have their screen zoomed in if you are in shift right next to them. expierenced players will know to Sprint instantly when this happens. Update: Due to the recent update counselor screens no longer zoom in when you shift next to them. Feedback provided by AngerRanger

• If you are like me you may sometimes hear someone repairing the boat. do not morph to it! let the counselors fix the boat and once it is you can either wait by the exit with stalk or you can simply drown them when they are far enough away from the shoreline. An easy 2 kills or 1!

  This is one of the reasons that make Part 7 jasons water speed so good, because if the boat driver is competent to know you are nearby and takes evasive action it won't help because you will be faster than him/her with your + water speed.

• Predict it's Course. If you are good at predicting moves than stopping the car should be an easy task. Simply wait at a location you think the driver will go. wait with stalk and then once close enough shift in front of the car (or behind if the driver is reversing). if the counselors get out wait for them to finish their animation or you won't be able to grab them. If you don't have stalk yet this will be much harder to do as the driver will know you will be shifting to him from the static jason produces.

• Hope the Driver is bad. If the driver is bad and keeps crashing, then that's good news for you. Kill them all Jason!

• Slashing. If a group of counselors are very close to you hitting you with all their petty weapons, simply slash, slash, slash until they all die or until you get stunned again.

  You can always chuck knifes at them aswell. and you can also grab a counselor and as other counselors try to free that person use him/her as a meatshield and when there is enough room perform the execution. if there is no room just use Asphixiation if you have it equipped.

• Kill the Sweater Girl. Use all your available power to kill the sweater holder! if Tommy is nearby and your mask if off make sure you don't get stunned or it's game over for you!

• Kill Tommy Jarvis. If you are paying attention to the amount of counselors have died or escaped. tommy will arrive at the scene if 2 counselors have died or 2 have escaped. Tommy Jarvis will spawn closest to the person that needs help so if you know his spawn locations you can easily kill him before he poses a threat to your life!
  • Keep your mask on. Try not to let counselors hit you with sharp weapons if you know they plan on killing you. try to keep a safe distance if you can.
  
  If you didn't manage to kill him straight away you can always pelt throwing knifes at him if he is with the sweater girl.

• Using Headpunch Headpunch is by far the fastest Grab kill that "Jason" can perform. most of the time a counselor that decides to ragequit because you killed them won't have enough time to leave because headpunch is too fast a kill.

• Throw them through a window. Simply chuck them through a window!

You must Play as Part 7 jason all the time

In order to please the God that is Part 7 Jason you must first always use Headpunch as an equipped kill and use his 3 Signature kills all the time.

You must also Screenshot all your Victories over lesser mortals and show how much better you are than Savini Jason.

You also need to upload videos of your victories to please the God that is Jason Part 7.

You must Block baseball bat hits with block all the time to please our God that is Jason Part 7.

and you must always say good things about part 7 jason because he is the best jason. even better than Savini!

And Most importantly you must always get 7/8 Kills to please the Part 7 God! any less and any more is Unacceptable!
