How To Rip Off The AI of All Its Gold

You're right. I admit it. This is a nifty trick I learned from The Spiffing Brit. I wanted to spread the good word. Here's the full vid in case you are interested:

But you're probably like me. You don't got time for that! You drink coffee and don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the rules. You're a red blooded AMERICAN who plays to WIN!!! You're the kind of man to steal workers from city states, LIKE A BOSS. Time to take it to the next level YOJIMBO STYLE SON!!! GRAAAAAAH!

STEP 1. MAKE FRIENDS. You don't make friends in Civ by being nice. Civs are like women, you get their attention by being a 50 caliber, gold plated TERMINATOR. So invest in that army you wimp!

STEP 2. ART OF THE DEAL PHASE 1. Trade your gold for their GPT (that's gold per turn for you n00bs). The more you put up front, the better the deal the computer thinks its getting.

STEP 3. FIST TO NUTS STYLE. Now offer them your GPT for their remaining gold, plus one of your spare luxuries. The AI will think you're stupid as hell and gleefully take the deal. Little do they realize you have a Worker standing over your luxury, MENACINGLY!!!

STEP 4. FORBIDDEN JUTSU - THOUSAND YEARS OF DEATH! Have your worker build over that luxury you just sold. Maybe a nice fort. Hit...next...turn...OH WOULD LOOK AT THAT. The deal for YOU to give GPT evaporated but you still have the AI's money and their GPT.

STEP 5. CAPITALISM WINS AGAIN. Once you've rebuilt your luxury, you can repeat this exploit again and again until you've utterly BANKRUPTED the other guy. They say money can't buy happiness. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Console peasants am I right? Spend your gold as you see fit.
