[Hybrid] Ultos Primal Strike Warder [v1.1.4.2]
1. Introduction
To be honest its not the strongest build I have ever created, DA is at the bare minimum and it was kind of hard to cap out all resistances.
In the end its very fun to dish out a ♥♥♥♥ ton of dps and just breeze through the main story, but I wouldn't recommend any demanding stuff like solo farming crucible wave 170 or shattered realm 76.
2. Gear + Grimtools link
Obviously the Ultos' Set is mandatory for this build, rest is also full purple so it shouldn't be hard to get.
3. How to level up and distribution of points
How to level this build:
Devouring Swarm and Forcewave with a 2h weapon are great skills for early game levelling. Get one skill point into Menhirs Will asap, its a great circuit breaker and can save you during hard boss fights.
Attribute Points:
You can go full Physique on this one, when Fighting Spirit procs you will have enough OA.
Devotion Points:
in order to pick (+) or drop (-) constellations
Crossroad Purple (+)
Empy Throne
Crossroad Purple (-)
Crossroad Green (+)
Hawk
Crossroad Green (-)
Crossroad Blue (+)
Lizard
Crossroad Blue (-)
Crossroad Pink (+)
Viper
Jackal
Behemoth
Widow
Chariot
Tempest
Kraken
Rhowans Crown (3points)
Ghoul (4 points)
One of my favorite devotion proc to skills combinations has to be Reckless Tempest bound to Storm Totem, I swear you have to bind this together.
4. Skills and how to play
Offensive skills: Primal Strike, Storm Totem
Defensive skills: Menhir's Will, Wendigo Totem,
Passives: Stormcaller's Pact, Stormcaller Aura, Field Command, Mogdrogen's Pact
Debuffs: Wind Devil (Raging Tempest), War Cry
How to play:
Its really straight forward, cast some Wind Devils --> head into melee face tanking with Primal Strike and occasional cast Totems / apply War Cry.
5. The End
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed my guide.
If you're having as much fun in this game as I do make sure to rate this guide and add to your favorites, this would mean really much to me :)
Anyway, if you have any improvements, ideas, suggestions, etc...
let me know in the comments.
6. Important stuff for new players
- Get your resistances up
- Use components while leveling
- Armor absorption should be as high as possible (100%)
- Survivability >>> DPS (always!)
- Focus on only one or two damage types
The order of events for Conversion is as follows: Base Skill > Skill Modifiers > Conversion on the Skill or Transmuter > Conversion on Equipment and Buffs > Equipment, Auras and Passives
There's a lot more to it, but I'm sure you will figure it out :)
