Buy the undead residence key from the undead merchant

2. go to the lower undead burg and look for a locked door near the back corner with a person yelling for help inside
3. free Griggs with the key and he will go to Firelink shrine.
4. He will tell you about his master Logan
5. Logan is in Sen's Fortress
7. To reach him you will have to rotate the "boulder machine," so the boulder crushes a wall behind a sleeping guard or wake up the sleeping guard and force him to attack the wall; it can break it with its Estoc attack.
8. You can use the Cage Key or the Master Key to open the cage. The Cage Key is found at the top of the castle. Jump across the broken walkway that leads to a lone tower, then descend the stairs. Kill the guard and pick up the key.
9. Later in the game, when the golden fog doors have been opened, you encounter him in a here. Attack Seath the Scaleless in his room, he is invincible and you will be cursed or killed (perfect use for rare ring of sacrifice). Upon revival you wake up next to the 2nd bonfire of the Archives, trapped inside a cell. Kill the snake guard through the bars to grab the key to your cell off of his corpse. From the bonfire, turn right out of the cell and head all the way down the spiral stairs to find Logan in a large cage at the bottom guarded by a group of Pisacas (ie. the blue snake-like enemies with octopus heads)
10. The Archive Tower Giant Cell Key which opens his prison can be found in a chest in the room with the collapsible staircase on the bottom level of the main building (the room before the crystal golem garden that leads to Crystal Cave).
11. Either after you have rescued him from his cell or after you have defeated Seath the Scaleless, you can can find him behind the shortcut bookcase that you opened to gain access to the crystal golem garden. Pass through it and he is on a small alcove in the left of the library.
    At this point he will sell you crystal variants of the original spells along with the originals. You can also talk to him for hints on how to defeat Seath the Scaleless. Note that you MUST buy all of his spells or he will not become insane.
12. After you buy all of his spells and defeat Seath the Scaleless, Logan will not recognize you and tell you not to bother him, which leads to triggering his final appearance.
    Talk to him several times, and you'll notice that he's clearly gone mad. Now rezone / reload again (may take two reloads) and he'll have left that spot.
13. His final appearance is in the original room where you first encountered Seath. Logan has gone insane and starts attacking you with his spells. You will have to resort to killing him. For this you will get his drops.
14. After you kill him, go back to the room where he sold you his spells. You will find a chest in his place with Logan's Catalyst, as well as the remainder of the Big Hat's Set.

• you will invade his world and he will have 2 guards

• dispatch them and you will receive a firekeeper soul

• return it to Anastasia and she will thank you for it

• After defeating the Capra Demon Rhea will appear with her guards Vince and Nico

• They will leave for the catacombs after killing pinwheel or after talking to petrus again

• Petrus will be reluctant to talk to you and claim to have lost his lady after reloading/quitting a few times

• You can pay Lautrec 100*soul level to find out what really happened with Petrus

• Reah next appears in the tomb of giants where Patches is. Let him kick you into the pit.

• She can be found with her hollowed guards, kill them and talk to her for a reward Replenishment[darksouls.wiki.fextralife.com]

• She will now sell advanced miracles on the altar of the church in the undead parish (use the firelink elevator for quick access)

• If you talk to her in the church Petrus will confront you and attack you for saving her. If you let Petrus kill you and you ignore her she will die.

• if you take too long to visit her at the undead parish, petrus will kill her and you can find some humanity and a pendant [darksouls.wiki.fextralife.com]at the spot of her death.

• After you buy all of her miracles, she will relocate to the Duke's Archives where she has hollowed. You can kill her to get 7 humanity and an ivory talisman[darksouls.wiki.fextralife.com]. She is just a few blocks down from where you spawn in the cell after Seath kills you.

• Exhaust his dialogue and you will find him at firelink shrine gives you Emit force[darksouls.wiki.fextralife.com]

• After exhausting his dialogue in Firelink Shrine, Siegmeyer will be found in Blighttown on one of the small patches of land amidst the poison swamp. gives you a Pierce Shield[darksouls.wiki.fextralife.com]

• After aiding him in Blighttown, he can be found in Lost Izalith just after falling through the floor into the poisonous area.

• Lost Izalith, if you let him fight the chaos eaters and has 50% or more HP
  his quest will continue, but u wont recieve the Speckled Stoneplate Ring.
  On the other hand if you kill the Chaos eaters before, or if he fights and ends with 50% or less he will give you Speckled Stoneplate Ring[darksouls.wikidot.com]

Ash Lake - if he survives in Lost Izalith and you catch up with Sieglinde of Catarina's storyline

• You can first find Solaire in front of the bridge with the hellkite drake that leads to the undead parish

• Talk to him and say yes to his options and he will give you a white sign soapstone

• You can summon him for the gargoyles, gaping dragon, centipede demon and ornstein and smough

• He can be found sitting at a bonfire in anor londo

• After killing Ornstein and Smough with him he can be found at the sunlight altar in the undead parish

• After killing the centipede demon with him, he can be found at the next bonfire, if you talk to him or proceed to lost izalith he will become hostile at the next meeting

• in order to avoid this get the shortcut near quelaag's sister by offering her 30 humanity and killing the sunlight parasite

• After talking to him he will be sad that he could not find his sun and will help you fight Gwyn

How to stop/freeze a quest-line

1) if you are not sure how you progressed in the quest-line of one/more, you can Aggro any NPC that you believe is important by attacking (not killing), and than progress in the game (beat bosses, or complete major events, such as ring the bells).
2) you will need to Request an Absolution[darksouls.wiki.fextralife.com] to continue a quest
