Stuffing the whole guide here. i'm lazy

For all the people jumping on just to experience fps drops- its the razer chroma setting, whether on or off it'll ruin the games framerate. some dude made the fix- he put it in a guide as well, but i cant remember which one. Not trying to steal that dudes credit, I just wanted there to be a guide SPECIFICALLY for this issue, as many people are probably going to be looking for a fix now.

Here's the download:
https://github.com/Riesi/CChromaEditor/releases/tag/EMPTY1.0.0

!!! YOU MUST RENAME THE APPROPRIATE 32 OR 64 BIT FILE TO 'CChromaEditorLibrary' OR LOL THEY DONT DO ANYTHING!!!

scuffed install guide-
-download the first file link, CChromaEditorLibrary_32and64bit.zip
-rightclick the game in your steam library > Properties... > Installed Files
-click browse
-rename CChromaEditorLibrary.dll or put it in a .rar/.zip or copy it somewhere, whatever backup method you prefer.
-for 32bit operating systems, extract CChromaEditorLibrary32.dll from the downloaded .zip- for 64bit, extract the other.
-rename the appropriate file for your operating system by removing either the 32 or 64 in the file name

you should by now have replaced the original CChromaEditorLibrary.dll with one of the two downloaded versions- if you don't know which operating system you're on- google it lul, i want to play now- i started writing this as soon as i confirmed this fix works. good luck everyone i really dont like writing guides so i'm poppin out here. its better you add me as a friend then ask for help in the comments here- i'll probably never come back to this guide.

extra

in launch options add

+com_skipIntroVideo 1 +menu_advanced_AllowAllSettings 1 +set m_smoothing 0 +com_skipKeyPressOnLoadScreens 1

skips the intro, automatically starts the level once loaded (dont have to hit space bar), disables mouse smoothing, and 🤔 enables extra settings or something.

aight thats it

hope this works, always annoying having to do nonsense like this, especially when the solutions to these issues are buried and you have to go digging to find the fix
