the bulk of it.

welcome to my glorious masterpiece of a guide on teaching you how to shoot a shotgun in the wonderful series which is called Halo.
for the starters, we should first look inside of ourselves and ponder the question... is shooting someone really what we want to do? if no, please exit this guide on the double! but if you do want to
be a tool of war, please continue.

now to get to this can of worms. you first need to locate the device you will be using to play this virtual game. will it be your trusty keyboard? or a controller? for this guide i will be explaining how to shoot via a controller, if you need help shooting via a keyboard and mouse please message in the comments and i will make a second guide for you all.

once you have found your controller of choice, you will then need to load up your game like the good little lab rats you are and go into a custom game to start your training, once you are in walk around the map to find this holy grail of a weapon- the shotgun.

then once you have picked up this weapon with whatever keybind it is set to on your filthy controller you now can start learning.

go to your settings and check what the "fire primary weapon" function is set to... its imperative that you do this as your life is now at stake, as once you had picked up that shotgun the whole covenant armada was alerted of this major change in the tide of war and they are closing in on your location!
once you have swiftly found the button, find the nearest goon and blast them in the face, to help out, and if you have the time, i would personally suggest that you bind your shoot button to your standard issue foot pedal which comes with every issue of halo 3, just so it saves a finger whilst the rest of them are watching your ass as you are reloading your glorious shotgun for the 17th time.

below i have attached an image of the sacred weapon so you have a little bit of eye candy in this guide. happy shooting folks!
