Lvl 40 Pure Nightblade - Executioner build
Introduction
With current max level of 40, the build only relies on Nightblades skill tree. I haven't even chosen a secondary class until now.
The build goes very much straight to the executioner skill. With an high attack speed, you will feel like one hitting every mob.
Bosses almost as fast. No chance that you are "one hitted". Therefore no glass cannon~
How to Skill
During leveling, you go very direct to "Executioner"(besides "Dual Blades" of course) and put every point into cunning.
On the way, you should get "Pneumatic Burst(level1)" with "Breath of Belgothian" as soon as available.
"Blade Barrier", "Ring of Steel"(kills all smaller enemies), "Blade Trap" with "Devouring Blades" are optional before reaching "Executioner"
"Executioner" maxed out:
You should mainly focos on "Vail of Shadow" -> "Shadow Dance" -> "Pneumatic Burst"
Leftover points are put into "Nights Chill"
Don't underestimate those level 1 skills. The most important effects kick already in. Leveling them up more, would just increase most effects slightly, but not worthwhile since our skill points are still limited.
Equipment
Physic(to be always top geared) You might also use most of your upgrades to impove PHY. Diamonds were helpfull at the beginning.
At the beginning, it will take some time until you will find or buy the first weapon with life leech. During that time you just have to rely on "Pneumatic Burst 1" and a few potions.
If you are lucky, you will find a legandary belt(Fizziks Utility Pack?) with +1 to all skills. This is your ring to rule them all. With this, you can save points while not needing to max out some skills like "Executioner", since the 20% chance of being used does not increase. You will get your "Nights Chill" with the belt up to level 8 through saving points at other places.
When you can craft the Relic "Ruination", it also offers you "Rapid Strike" with +20% atk speed. Will exchange it though as soon as I find "Ch'thon Blood" to craft "Rampage".
Upgrading
In one of your weapons, you should put a "Serrated Spike" to get its skill "Piercing Aura"(+10% piecring dmg).
At level 30, you can start to pay more attention to resistence, just to keep your walkthrough even smoother.
Also, around level 30, you can find pieces for the "Hollowed Fang" which will give you +10% lifeleech on one of your weapons and the skill "Blooddrinker"(gives +25% life leech)
Playstyle
After start leveling "Pneumatic Burst", just try to keep it always running, since it will give you a dozens of importent boni since we already maxed "Shadow Dance" at this point. "Vail of Shadow" will reduce every enemys speed in range by 25%(!)
If situations are still getting tough, you can normally use ONE of the following skills to get rid of the pressure: "Blooddrinker" or "Rapid Strike". Of course also together, but mobs are many times already dead just after I managed to press those skill buttons~
"Blade Barrier" gives you a few seconds to analyze the situation while you are regenerating and mosters are killing themself. "Ring of Steel" and "Blade Dance" traps and stuns your enemies to give you even more time to gently cut off their heads and slice their bellies open. But all that is basically optional. You just spam Pneumatic burst for the boni(you don't really need that healing either) and keep cutting with your two hot butter knifes.
After level 40
Current Build
So far, I just reached level 39 and my equipment is not bad, but average level of it is still 25. Means, I am still far from full potential of this build.
My current Stats:
Attack speed ~173%(with Pneumatic Burst)
dmg/sec ~1786
3440 Life
Edit: Reached level 40, used Skeleton Key and cleared both SoT levels(4-5) including the scyth-wielder on veteran.
Yep, not a "glass-cannon"~
Edit2: This is basically my first character and I didn't know anythiing about the game before. So I screwed up to get acess to Depraved Sanctuary and can't go and farm inside once more... Wow, no Skeleton Key, that sucks...
