Modding the EAC Splash-screen image

Locate the Splash image

The splash image is in a funky place called '\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\easyanticheat\launcher'

This is usually under 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps'
Alternatively you can right click on the game's library listing, and go to properties > browse local files to get to the main game folder. if your file system differs from the norm then you should probably try that first. I don't judge ;)

Edit the Image in an editor

So go ahead and find a good image editor, I use Krita - because it's free and pretty comparable to Photoshop (screw adobe amirite)

Load up that splashscreen bad boy in it, and paste the new image you want into that file so that it lines up with the old one. Make sure the dimensions are exact.
Then delete the source image layer and save it as a .PNG with the same name as the original so EAC thinks it's the OG and loads it up.

Downloading splashscreen mods from the Nexus

if you feel particularly uninspired, you can skip making one yourself. go onto the Nexus website and look at the selection available.

While you're at it check out my one here [www.nexusmods.com]
