The Basics of Surviving Legendary

Basically the key to survival is to keep picking up weapons due to low ammo. Don't be afraid of the Covenant at all or the Flood. They both always carry weapons to use. Do not regard the soldiers who go with you, they know what to do and know you're a Spartan.

Do not be afraid to take your time when fighting. The fight begins with you. Be sure to use cover and tactics. This wont make you less of a Spartan.

Everything is about surviving to do your mission in game. I started always using Covenant weapons because of shields. The best bet is to use Covenant weapons. Like fighting fire with fire.

You ALWAYS need a human weapon as well to deal with Hunters and the Flood. Save your grenades for them.

Now being sniper or a shotgun user is very very difficult. The shotgun is much more preferred in my opinion.

Now for your ultimate info! Grunts are your best friends in Halo Legendary. Always pay attention to weapon drops. I personally think using rocket launchers and heavy weapons are a waste of time. Remember with the plasma pistol you can stop vehicles. I would not try to use a vehicle unless it's absolutely necessary.

The most powerful are the Flood. THE Flood. Now you are going to need precision weapons to take them down. When you run into Flood Tanks you can use energy swords or gravity hammers. You have to move around and do more tactics with these enemies.

I usually take down ranged Flood first so I can run and aim. The best thing to do about Flood is to run around and hope you got this. Snipers are better used on the Flood.

Okay so we have the Flood explained. Now the only two Covenant to watch out for are the Elites and the Hunters.

With the elites use plasma pistols and their own weapons against them no matter what rank. Be careful using melee I highly do not suggest that.

Hunters can be easy if you so choose. A human weapon is your best bet unless you wish to unload a Covenant weapon on them. The most powerful in the game are the Hunters. This is my secret to you.
