Introduction

Trinkets are, by far, the most elusive items in the game.
While you will probably favor the Polaroid in the later game, it helps to have a good one with you before you get to that point.

Gives you a Familiar, similair to Brother Bobby. This familiar will shoot long-range, homing tears and will float around the room slowly
Unlocked by completing the Chest with ???, but due to a bug is unlocked by completing the Chest with Eve

50% chance to drop a half heart pickup when money is collected
Unlocked by completing the Cathedral with Samson
50% chance to drop a bomb pickup when money is collected
Unlocked by completing the Large Marge challenge
At the start of a floor, there's a 25% chance to get the Compass effect for that floor
Unlocked by completing the Chest with Cain
Increases your fire rate

5% chance to spawn Dead Bird for the current room whenever an enemy dies
Unlocked by completing the Chest with Eve, but due to a bug is unlocked by doing so with ???, instead
50% chance of spawning a key on every coin pickup

Unlocked by completing the Lord of the Flies challenge

Red Heart deals in the Devil Room will cost 1 heart container, only.
Unlocked by completing the Chest with Judas.
Replaces all normal and golden chests with red ones
Unlocked after defeating Ultra Pride.
Can randomly grant you the effect of either Mini Mushroom, Large Odd Mushroom,Small Odd Mushroo or the Compass for one room

Unlocked by completing the 7 Years Bad Luck challenge
Gives you an Eternal Heart at the start of every floor
Unlocked by completing the Chest with Maggy
Increased chance of finding bombs

5% chance to induce the Necronomicon's effect whenever you take damage

Increased chance of finding Spirit hearts

10% chance that any projectile you shoot poisons an enemy

If you take damage that leaves you at less than one full red heart, you'll gain a shield for 5 seconds. This does not take Spirit hearts into consideration. Holding the Polaroid while entering the big chest at the end of the Cathedral will allow you to continue towards the Chest
It's unlocked by completing the Cathedral six times. After which, it's dropped by Mom after completing the fight
10% chance that any tear you shoot becomes spectral and piercing

If you get hit, there's a 20% chance your damage output increases by 1,2 for the current room

1/15th chance to increase damage by a slight amount, each time an enemy in the room dies, for the duration of that room
Unlocked by completing the Chest with Samson
Drains 15% health of bosses. Refills one red heart container upon entering an uncleared Boss Room
It should be noted that this trinket cannot be swapped with another one once picked up. If you plan on going to the Chest, for which you need the Polaroid, it's advisable to not pick this trinket up unless you have Mom's Purse, which allows you to hold two trinkets
If you're at less than one red heart of health, without taking Spirit hearts into consideration, a Little Steve familiar spawns
