Intro

Welcome, in this guide i will show you how to use the first buddy in the game D-Horse and how to best utilize its abilities, Enjoy!

Basic usage

D-Horse has 3 main abilities/commands:
Stay back - D-horse will move from the current position.
Whistle - calls D-horse to you.
Do it (defecate) - D-Horse defecates at your current position, which can cause light vehicles to slip. (this requires a 50% bond with him)

To upgrade your bond with him you can use any of these commands and for every 36 seconds you ride him your bond will increase by 1%,

Using the Whistle command while Snake is sprinting causes D-Horse to run alongside him and allow him to mount, in order to maintain speed.
D-Horse is best utilized for combat so if you are planing to do a non-stealth combat playthrough i would recommend using D-horse with the battle dress.

(Fun Fact: D-Horse is actually a boy)

Stats and customization

D-Horse has 10,000 health and 5,000 stamina. When D-Horse's health falls below 50%, he becomes incapacitated until fully restored. when riding snake can use any weapon, he can also lean from left to right to avoid detection.
After upgrading your bond level, D-Horse can be equipped with armor. An additional costume unlocks at max bond.
D-Horse has 3 main costumes:
Normal, "The standard tactical loadout"
Battle Dress, a reinforced bulletproof coat.
Furicorn, which is based on the man on fires horse.
D-Horse also has 2 DLC costumes:
Western Track, "A non-tactical loadout perfect for imaginary travels through the old west"
Parade Track, "A special track for ceremonies, parades and other formal occasions real, or imaginary"
You can also change D-horses color via the customization menu.

Outro

So that concludes my guide on D-Horse it was a lot shorter than the D-Dog one because D-horse has less uses and customization but he is still a very useful buddy for navigation.
