The idea

Veganism is defined as:
Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.

This guide is my definition of how it is done in Oxygen not Included.

Things to avoid:
1: Never attack a creature, no creatures in the game at the moment are hostile by default.
2: Avoid getting them killed by the enviroment, drowning, stuck in walls etc.
3: Give them a big enough area that they don't get the cramped status.
4: Don't destroy eggs.

Things that are ok:
1: Relocate creatures using traps and lures.
2: Meat / omelette foods that are created from the print pod are done cruelty free, so it's ok to eat.
3: Feed critters food for products, because they are harmless byproducts. (Unlike milk and eggs in real life)
4: Shearing dreckos can be considered ok, here is what the ingame database says about it "The tail of the Drecko, called the "train", is purely for decoration and can be lost or shorn without harm to the animal.

Notes:
* Wheezeworts are actually animals, not plants according to the ingame database, so treat em ok!
* Meal lice from the mealwood is not sentient, it's a type of grain.
* Be nice to morbs!

Everything in the game can be done following these rules, so don't worry about missing out on anything!
