How to change your region in Multiplayer

How to do it.

Step 1: When you open the main menu of Doom's multiplayer, you'll notice your region displayed down the bottom. You can press R if playing on keyboard and X if playing on pad to bring up a list of regions.

Step 2: Click on the region closest to you. If you live in Australia like me, Asia-Pacific is closest to you.
Step 3: That's it. That's literally it.

Why to do it? And why make this guide for it?

By default, Doom almost always puts me in North America or Europe. I have no idea why, because Asia is the only place I can play in that doesn't give me lag.

So that means that players who don't realise they can change their region are put into games with terrible ping by default, and that sucks.

What sucks even more is that for the people who do know how to change their region, they have to sit around in empty lobbies for hours just to get enough players to start since almost everyone is being sorted into other servers.

My goal is to inform people of how to play in their own region, so people like us can have low-ping matches with a decent amount of players for a change.

The end.

In a nutshell, 'oi you stupid Aussies, actually join the asia server and wait five bloody minutes so we can play a real match for a change'.
