Super 1337 Dualboxing Guide

Dualboxing is when one player controls two game clients at once using multiple computers or a multiboxing software. Dual/multiboxing is usually done in MMO games where there's not all that much action happening at any given time, it's rare to find in shooters as you usually need to be actively controlling your client with both hands. So if people don't do it in shooters why is this guide for squad, you may be wondering, simple answer, you don't need to be very active in squad for the majority of a match. From my experience I'd say most time in squad is spent either running/driving somewhere or digging something. Digging only requires a hand on the mouse while running/driving only requires a hand on the keyboard, do you see what I'm getting at here? If you only need one hand to perform most common tasks why not use both do the tasks better?

• Functional body from the waist up: Self explanatory why this is required but it's pretty important and I don't think I'll be able to put having at least two working appendages into the optional category until neuralink or whatever is good enough to control multiple computers at once with your mind.
  
• Computer X2: My old GTX 970 can run the game fine (well, relatively fine for how poorly this game runs) while the older and lower end RTX cards can struggle to get more than 30 fps.
  
• Monitor X2: You may only need one if you have the hardware or software to display two separate video streams at once idk since I don't really mess with that stuff.
  
• Keyboard X2: Or you could use controllers if that's what gets your rocks off, freak.
  
• Mouse X2: the computer variety, the animal is not required. Also, same as above, you can use controllers.
  
• Copy of the game X2: You kind of need the game in order to play it, so you need to have double the game for you to become double the gamer.

• Legs: These allow you to use more peripherals. If you master foot gaming you can even run another client or two with your feet or enhance the gameplay of the client(s) you're already running (plus you might learn how to give great footjobs)
  
• Xbox adaptive controller: This looks like it might be a good controller for your feet, I'm not sure as I've only ever used KB&M or a regular controller with my feet, so you'll have to be the one to bite the bullet on this one.
  
• One handed gaming keyboard/controller abomination: Like the Xbox controller I've never used one of these but they also look like a good fit for this. What I have used however is external numpads and I can attest to their space efficiency while multiboxing so these seem like external numpads but more gamer.
  
• Brain Power: It can be a bit confusing at first managing multiple clients or using your feet for gaming but you get better at it the more you do it, so don't let it deter you if you're fumbling around a lot trying it for the first time.

3. Put your two mice side by side.
   
4. Set up your computers and connect everything
   
5. Install Squad on your computers
   
6. Launch squad on your computers
   
7. Join a server on your computers

This is just an example of how I've had my hardware set up before, arrange anything however you want and use anything you think you can. You might just be surprised by what old tech junk you can find some new uses for while multiboxing.

So, you've entered a server with both of your accounts but have no clue what to do with them, allow me to give you a few examples.

You know how in Battlefield or GTA you don't always need two people to gun and drive at the same time, now imagine that in squad... Okay, enough imagining because you can do it right now. start a squad and get your alt in it, lock it if the server allows, then claim a vehicle. Enter it with both your accounts and now here's where the magic happens. This might be a little tough to take in, but what you need to do is put your hand on the movement keys of the account that's in the driver's seat and put your other hand on the mouse of the account that's manning the gun. Done? Are your hands located where I have directed? If so, you should be able to figure out how to make the car go vrrrmmm and the gun go DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA at the same time by yourself, if not, return to the previous step and try again. Let's be honest, no one wants to sit around all match in a vehicle waiting for the SL to tell you to get out so that he can drop a drop a FOB and so that you can slave away at the shovel farms digging up a bunch of emplacements that will probably never even get used during the match. And then it's almost even less fun to be the guy trying to convince someone else to come with them just to sit around in a truck for an hour interspersed with a few minutes of slave labor. So instead, you can do both of these boring tasks at the same time by just dragging your other account with you in your logi. You don't have to worry about suckering someone into being shovel boy for you because your other account is as obedient as you make it. Were the other two examples too normal for you? do you like getting up to a little tomfoolery? Feel the need to burn a hole in your pocket by buying numerous copies of squad? Try griefing. It's technically not against the Squad Code Of Conduct[www.joinsquad.com] but almost all servers will ban you for it. using multiple accounts you can send vehicles careening off the closest map edge or into some conveniently placed death water at a truly outrageous pace. this can be achieved by cycling through your accounts one by one so that by the time you've driven a vehicle off the map with your last account the first account's respawn timer has already ran it's course. I recommend first starting off on south american servers as the players on them tend not to notice the blatant shenanigans occurring at main until there are no vehicles left and everyone's walking around around in circles wondering what happened.

If you multibox you won't be able to goon while playing squad anymore since you might have converted the dedicated goon monitor to be used for squad and you'll actually need two hands to play sometimes. This is the only downside.

You can buy another monitor or two to be used for sating your constant need of adult entertainment. Also if you set up macros to toggle inputs like digging and moving forward you will still be able to play the game with one hand most of the time and sometimes even with no hands.
