Galatic Trading Guide

Buy From One System And Sell To The Next One. There Are Two Loops.

• Buy Red -> Sell Orange. Battery -> PickAxe.
  
• Buy Orange -> Sell Yellow. PickAxe -> Gears.
  
• Buy Yellow -> Sell Neon Blue. Gears -> MicroChip
  
• Buy Neon Blue -> Sell Red MicroChip -> Battery

• Buy Green -> Sell Purple. PocketWatch -> DNA.
  
• Buy Purple -> Sell Dark(ish) Blue. DNA -> Beaker.
  
• Buy Dark(ish) Blue -> Sell Green. Beaker -> PocketWatch
  
• -- Loop Back --

• Must have an 'Economy Scanner' installed on your Ship OR an 'Inter-Galactic Scanner' on your Freighter.
  
• Go into 'Galaxy Map'. Enter 'FreeLook Mode'.
  
• Move to a Star. Expand Tab.
  
• It will show the Icon corresponding to the Economy Type.
  
• Also in the 'Galaxy Map', you can switch to 'Show Stars by Economy' filter to get colour code the stars.

• Always Buy from 3 star economy - they carry the most goods.
  
• You can Sell to any economy type, that is next on the trade list. Sell to Pilots that land at the Space Station or Trading Post.
  
• Buy from both, 'Space Stations' & 'Trading Posts'. Trading Posts are found using the quick menu, while in Ship. Also, available in the Exocraft Scanner menu.
  
• You can min-max by using the buy & sell percentages (shown in the galaxy map); but that is, usually, not required.

• Activate a 'Trade Surge' using the Ship's Economy Scanner.
  
• In this Mode, you only buy from the System preceding the economy type in the chain.

  So if there is a Surge in a Yellow Economy (PickAxe) you must buy from only Red (Battery) economies. Fill your entire inventory before you go and sell, as selling will crash the prices in the surge system.

• Buy from as many of the systems as you can, till your inventory is full for maximum profit.
  
• A single trade surge can net upto 500million units in under a hour of work.
