The easiest way to the center of the universe
If you know how to get to portals, skip this section :)
Preparation
When I bought NMS back in 2016, it took a veeeery long time to get to the center, black holes etc. until you got there.
But Hello Games changed a lot of things and introduced portals, which made things a lot easier.Your best bet is to go to the nearest space station and get as many "Alien Cartograph Datas" as you can from the nearest cartographer.
For those new to the game, maps can only be earned by saving points on planets, and the cartographer only exchanges checkpoint points for maps.
Unless you're lucky and he trades Planetary Cards for Nanite, you should have a lot of Nanite.
As already described, the latter option is only possible if you have a lot of Nanit available and the trader happens to offer and trade "Alien Cartograph Datas".
The main objective is to find "monoliths." Not "ancient ruins" or "ancient tablets."
If one of the latter appears the first time, repeat the search until you find a monolith.
Now it really starts
Once you've found a monolith and they looks different, save it using the save slot in the quick menu if you haven't yet collected enough Korvax, Gek, and Vy-keen foreign words to read the text and answer the quiz correctly.
Activate the Monolith again and sacrifice for either:
Vy'keen: Vy'keen Dagger
Gek: Gek Relic
Korvax: Korvax Casing
Don't worry, if you don't have a relic, dagger, or casing available, there is usually one in this damaged container that is maybe next to a portal.
Portal and the right Glyphs
Once you've found a portal, it's time to get down to business.
- Catalytic Elements (Carbon, Compressed Carbon and Oxygen)
- Earth Elements (Di-hydrogen, Deuterium, Cobalt, isolated Cobalt and Salt)
- Stellar Material (Copper, Cadmium, Emeril, Indium and Quartzite)
I've attached all the required elements
to the corresponding glyphs. The same
element must be used for every four glyphs.
Based on the elemental values, you can
get an idea of how much crafting you'll
need to do to unlock all the glyphs.
You have to activate all of them,
otherwise the portal won't open.
This is what the portal board looks like at the beginning:
It has to be 100% everywhere.
Once all glyphs are unlocked, you need to enter the following glyph code:
+++THE RIGHT GLYPHS+++
I've used this code on all my galaxy jumps and never had any problems. I've occasionally gotten this message, but don't let it discourage you; you'll definitely get to the center.
Using the glyphs, you can get closer to the center, but you'll still have to travel to one or two systems.
Important: Choose the orange mission line to travel to the correct system and jump to the center like this.
Important details!
Very important, you need to know the following before making the jump. When you wake up in a new system, your jetpack, multi-tool, and spaceship will be completely broken and will need to be repaired.
My tip: Get a cheap ship for around 3-4 million units and a cheap multi-tool that you set as your default before making your jump.
I forgot to change my multitool here, so I'll always use it for the jumps from now on. My better tool looks better 😁
I recommend making the final jump with the freighter. This way, you can select your ship directly, as it would need to be repaired again on the next jump, and the freighter ALWAYS works and doesn't take damage after the jump.
All Galaxies
This map helps you determine which universe you're in.
Interestingly, there are universes with more metal, lush biomes, and good photo opportunities, as well as extreme biomes. All of this is listed below the image.
Overview source: r/NoMansSkyTheGame
It shows you ALL 255 universes. Once you leave Iousongola (the 255th), you'll land back at Euclid (1). If you do this, big tears are coming 😂
Finally...
If everything goes perfectly meaning you have enough resources, find a portal right away, and arrive safely in the next galaxy a jump takes about 10-15 minutes.
Perhaps you've achieved better results, or you have improvements and suggestions for how it could be improved.
I hope I was able to help you, because I love this game and want everyone to share in it.
If you want, feel free to like and/or recommend it.
