Become The Ghoul in Fallout New Vegas (HEAVY SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW AND THE GAME)
Introduction
Seeing as you can't become a ghoul in Fallout New Vegas, (sadly) your character creation should look similar to his pre-ghoul form. I thought it'll be fitting to try and get most level-up perks that have something to do with radiation to make the run as fun as possible. I urge you to watch the show, it may have its shortcomings but I felt that it was made for the fans. And as for the weapons, we will be using stuff that resembles the weapons he uses in the show (you'll find out later why)
S.P.E.C.I.A.L, Traits and tagged skills
S.P.E.C.I.A.L
Strength
5: Pretty standard, he's seen brawling with Maximus someone wearing a full Brotherhood of Steel Power Armour, and it'll help you use most cowboy-esque weapons in New Vegas
Perception
5: He's a cowboy and all so 5 Perception is all that is needed, and in terms of gameplay you'll only really need 6 for Better criticals.
Endurance
7: He's seen taking multiple shots from guns, he's survived for so long in the wasteland so he takes these much points in Endurance plus it'll help with the implants.
Charisma
1: He was an actor before the war, but he's not much a man of the people, everyone seems to hate him because he's a ghoul and a cold-blooded killer and Charisma is a dump stat.
Intelligence
6: He's smart, being able to live so long in the wasteland he knows his way around and takes care of himself, he's very pragmatic and deserves these 6 points in Intelligence
Agility
8: He's a cowboy as well as being agile in a fight when he went up against Power Armour and dodged most attacks. The agility will help a lot with guns.
Luck
8: Fallout New Vegas isn't Fallout New Vegas without luck, this stat helps in possibly everything, money will never be a problem ever again, and even in the show's context, you have to be one lucky son of a gun to survive for so long.
Traits:
Fast shot/Trigger Discipline: The Ghoul is very handy with the guns he carries and these two tags insinuate that your character knows his way around most weapons
Skilled/Logan's Loophole: Skilled is useful in general but Logan's Loophole is more fitting if you want to imitate the character as much as possible, seeing as he's a ghoul which is practically immortal and the character when shot with a tranquilliser dart says that he's full of other drugs so it'll be fitting if you use as much drugs as possible and Logan's Loophole helps with that, but if you want the extra 20 levels and don't mind addiction use Skilled.
Tags:
Guns: Self-explanatory, he uses guns and he's good with them
Speech: He has many cheesy one liners and is a staple for any cowboy build
Survival: This fits the character as he looks like a wasteland survivalist, plus this helps with Hardcore.

Perks
I see many guides with perks for every level, but I want to keep this guide as a suggestion not as something to follow to a T, and when I follow some of these ultra-detailed guides I always mess up and the build has a sour taste in my mouth. I opted to put the essential perks you need if you want to play as the ghoul. Every perk here will be shown with its requirements.
Hunter (level 2, Survival 30)
Rapid Reload (level 2, Agility 5, Guns 30)
Rad Child (level 4, Survival 70)
Bloody Mess (level 6)
Gunslinger (level 6)
Lead Belly (level 6, Endurance 5 or Survival 40)
Toughness [both ranks] (level 6)
Cowboy (level 8, Guns 45, Melee 45)
Quick Draw (level 8, Agility 5)
Rad resistance (level 8, Endurance 5, Survival 40)
Terrifying Presence (level 8, Speech 70)
Finesse (level 10)
Better Criticals (level 16, Perception 6, Luck 6)
Light Touch (level 2, Agility 6, Repair 45)
Old World Gourmet (Endurance 6, Survival 45)
Atomic! (level 20, Endurance 6)
Ain't Like That Now ( Karma less than -250, level 50)
PS: You can use cannibal because at one point he eats some ghoul, but up to you, plus cannibal helps with bad karma which is needed for the level 50 perk

Equipment
Armour:
Armour is a big part of every build, sometimes you stick with a piece of armour for the rest of the game, this build won't be any different.
First is the iconic hat:

It's a simple cowboy hat that has a look-alike in the game:

This may not be an exact replica, but the shape is close to the one seen in the show, but you can always use the Desperado cowboy hat:

Second is the actual armour, at the start you can use the sheriff's duster found in Primm, in a shack behind the casino:

Later on you can get the overpowered Courier duster or Ulysses Duster, I know they don't fit the show, but they're op and look cool as hell and it's your choice

Weapons:
As seen in the show he uses a combination of two guns that don't really exist in New Vegas but look like existing guns in the game:
The first one being this handgun that resembles a revolver, you can use the .44 or the .375 and their variants.

On his back you can see what seems like a brush gun or a trail carbine, so you can use them or the medicine gun

The gameplay
In the words of the Ghoul himself, ''Thou shalt be sidetracked by bullsh*t every godd*mn time'', it makes the game more fun to do as much side quest and for the faction you should go with the most chaotic ending, in Fallout New Vegas it will be Yes Man.
The Ghoul is in my opinion an evil character, so you'll try your hardest to have bad karma, which is a challenge in New Vegas. You should have bad reputations with most factions especially the Brotherhood of Steel.

I prefer playing in Hardcore but you can play without Hardcore like a casual.

Conclusion
I hope you like the guide, anything you want to add you can comment, I will try to read as much comments as I can. I love this game and I want to contribute as much as I can to the community. Thank you for reading this stupid attempt!!
